Meet the Doctor
Dr. Robert W. Bruno is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics providing braces to children and adults.
He graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University with a BS in Biology. Dr. Bruno then completed his dental training at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Bruno did a one year general practice residency program at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center. He then received his post-graduate orthodontic specialty training at Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Bruno, has been practicing orthodontics since 1989 and is known for his practical approach towards straightening teeth and for creating treatment plans that fit each individuals needs. He is dedicated to his career and treats each patient as if they were family.
Our office utilizes the most advanced braces (self-ligating In-Ovation R braces) which means faster, efficient and more comfortable treatment. We offer clear aligners (Invisalign), tooth color (ceramic) and lingual (behind the teeth) braces. We also use cavity fighting adhesives and space age low force wires for maximum patient comfort.

The latest technology in orthodontic tooth movement is the In-Ovation R bracket. 1. The unique bracket design allows the teeth to move more quickly, easily and comfortably. 2. Since the bracket has a built in spring clip, locking door mechanism, colored ties are not required and friction is reduced significantly. No need for colored ligature ties (which are a plaque trap) = better oral hygiene. 3. The reduced friction allows for reduced treatment time= fewer adjustments and less appointments for our patients. 4.The comfort felt by the patient is due to the smaller size and profile of the bracket and the reduced force needed to move the teeth.

A very experienced Orthodontist. He gave excellent treatment for my daughters braces. Appointments were always on time and accurate. Results were terrific. My son will be seeing him shortly.
Being Dr. Bruno's patient was a great experience. He was always attentive. friendly and professional . I had my braces on for 3 years, went to regular appointments and always had my needs tended to. I highly recommend Dr. Bruno for his trustworthiness and amazing service.

dr Bruno is an excellent orthodontist. he explains his treatment plan thoroughly and is upfront with pricing. my son feels very comfortable with him and his teeth came out perfect. my son accidentally broke his braces and dr Bruno, who was on vacation at the time, made an emergency drive to his office to fix them. he's an exceptional orthodontist.
About Front Desk: dr Bruno's Manhasset office is clean and efficient. scheduling is easy and his office runs on time. Mary, the office manager is amazing at her job.

Excellent office, I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Dr. Bruno and his staff make you feel at home and relaxed. He truly cares for his patient's and it is very apparent. I am so happy I found Dr. Bruno, great job!
About Front Desk: Front desk staff, 5 stars no more to say, fabulous!
Dr. Bruno is a relaxed pro. He worked with our teenage daughter in a way that made her feel like an independent. Of course we know what was going on every step of the way. Dr. Bruno is very accommodating. We highly recommend him for all your family's orthodontist needs.
About Front Desk: Exceptional Staff. The women who front the front desk and assist Dr. Bruno are a class act!
4 children and my husband (does that make 5 children?) had braces or palate expander. Success on all counts. Very pleased with one child where Dr. Bruno used palate expander and retainer to remedy alignment, as opposed to a more expensive brace therapy.

As a Director of administrative nurses at NSUH Manhasset I say with confidence that Dr. Bruno, his staff and his office are above and beyond in treatment success, customer service and committment. I came to Dr. Bruno as an adult after major shifting of my teeth, loss of teeth, improper bite never smiling any more.
