I've had several visits to Dr. Nicosia's office and I think she rocks. First visit was a checkup, including full set of x-rays, and cleaning. She did a thorough job and I never felt that she was in a rush. She gave me a detailed assessment of the x-rays and was great about explaning things and answering questions. I had a receding gum over one tooth that had bothered me for years so I scheduled a gum graft. I've since had that gum graft and the procedure was about as close to painless as it could get. For me, the most difficult part was not laughing. She and her assistant Lisa have a great chemistry between them and their interaction during the procedure was great. I should mention that while the procedure was not bad at all, the following day or two was tolerable but not pleasant. It wasn't painful but not being able to brush, floss or eat normally and having a little bleeding and taking antibiotics is not fun. The graft has been healing fine and the first followup visit was quick and easy. So far, I'm extremely happy with Dr. Nicosia and recommend her without reservation.

My experience with Dr. Nicosia was a very pleasing one. I had to a surgical procedure on my gums. I am sure it was very minor, but to me it was MAJOR!!! Dr. Nicosia put my mind at ease with my very first visit to her office. She is not only extremely professional, but incredibly kind. Every person in her office exudes the same qualities. My procedure was a success, and I am very appreciative. Deborah Vann

The initial surgical work Dr. Nicosia did to prepare my mouth for the implants was extensive and even a tad bit pricey, but she never made me feel like it was my 'fault' that my dental situation had gotten to the point it was beyond routine dental care. I had to save up and work out my dental insurance benefits to cover the cost, but she and her staff worked with me to plan for it and made it happen in a timely manner. The actual implant work was then done to make ready for my regular dentist to add his crowning glory, so to speak, and she worked well with him on planning procedures so my 'ugly mouth time' was minimized. With her skill in arranging 'joint' procedures to align with the actual downtime necessary for my dental work, I was able to plan personal time off to avoid public exposure and frustration while I was in the middle of the process. The way she gave me back a beautiful smile I can flash with confidence... utterly and without question...priceless. I recommend Dr. Nicosia for any work you need, and her staff is tops in my opinion, too. She treats them well, and they, in turn, treat her patients like gold. Overall, a great dental facility that has my undying loyalty.

It's hard to express the full range of my appreciation for Dr. Nicosa. I had hidden from dentists for a decade and when i finally went to see her, I was a complete mess. Major work was required. She very gently set up the plan, contacted the other professionals and coordinated the whole process of extractions, root canals, surgery and implants. She is truly a miracle worker.
