Procedure was described in detail, what to expect was outlined and I was sent home with written instructions. All went as predicted by Dr. Gordon and result was very good. Staff was helpful and organized. I had a great experience and would definitely use Dr. Gordon again! Thank you

Pleasant and professional. I have been going to him for four years twice per years for cleanings. Exams are thorough, and the cleanings seem to last longer than from a regular dentist. I do recommend him.

Dr. Gordon is amazing, and if I only had to deal with him and the hygienist, I would gladly recommend everyone I know to go to him, but, alas, you must deal with the office manager and 4 months after my last visit and 7 months after the procedure, my bill is still not resolved. Instead of owing them almost $450. I realized that they owe me almost $350. They are charging me for duplicate billing that they made to my insurance company that were obviously denied. Phone calls are not returned and the excuses are ridiculous. I spent several hours researching my bill and found that they had the wrong write off amounts listed, charged my HSA card twice and did not note it on my bill. If I did not pay attention, they would have had me overpay $820.

Dr. Gordon is kind, efficient, a good communicator, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and professional. I had an emergency, and he and his office staff added me to the schedule late on a Friday afternoon. I hadn't been able to contact my regular dentist, and he and his receptionist didn't want the condition to deteriorate over the weekend. Everyone in the office was friendly, thoughtful and efficient. Dr. Gordon clearly explained what procedures are indicated and what the cost will be. I will return to have a dental implant and I will highly recommend Dr. Gordon.

About Front Desk: Dr. Gordon's front dest staff listened to my concerns when I phoned, and she "went the extra mile" when she asked me to wait while she described my problem to Dr. Gordon. She then asked me to come right in so that Dr. Gordon could rule out an abscess. She is friendly, warm, helpful, courteous, and polite.

About Hygienist: Dr. Gordon's dental assistant was also kind, courteous, and efficient.

I wished I had known not to go to this Dr. This was the worst experience that I have ever had in my entire life. I was mistreated and so was the very nice Cigna representative. Find some place where they treat you a lot better. I am going to another Dr. to do the other side of my mouth. They owe me a re- imbursement over a $100 and Carol told me no she was not going to pay it. she is refusing to give me money from an overcharge on my out of pocket fee. I am filing a complaint with State Insurance Commissioner, the Better Business Bureau and DHP of Virginia on unethical billing practices. And I am going to ask Cigna to remove them from the network list. You can't change someones nasty attitude only God can do that but there is help for consumers when it comes to unethical billing. Oh, I forgot to mention, I was in pain for over a week, even with taking Advil. And now the side of the mouth that they worked on does not feel clean at all. I am going to a dentist where that use lazer less invasive and less pain. Thank you. I hope this helps when making your decision.

In 2006 I was referred to Dr. Gordon by Dr. Dan Cassidy after an old post-crown in a root canal came out. After a consultation and x-rays he showed me that the old tooth root had cracked, and an implant would be my only good choice. He did a bone graft and the implant base, always explaining the procedure to me as he went along. The treatment was painless and he made me (a chicken when it comes to this sort of thing) feel very much at ease and comfortable at all times. The implant has been a complete success. I've gone back to him recently for a periodontal scraping procedure, during which he discovered resorption in one of my molars. He did his best to treat it, but the tooth root was too far gone to save, so it means another implant. He removed the tooth, showed me exactly where the problem was, and will continue to treat me until the problem is resolved. I find him to be very professional and confident in his knowledge. Some reviewers have taken issue with his wife, but she has always been pleasant with me (a little "small talk" always helps). I would recommend Dr. Gordon very highly to anyone looking for a good periodontist!

Dr Gordon was a referral from Dick Light, DDS. We reviewed Dr Gordon's training and experience and decided he was likely one of the best in the Washington, DC area. He has provided periodontal clinical services for approximately five years and done two dental implants. The referring dentist has described Dr Gordon's work as excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Gordon for anyone needing a Periodontist.

Dr. Gordon is a top notch periodontist and oral surgeon but his wife who runs the offices billing will make your life misrable. If you can see him and avoid her fine, but otherwise I would avoid this practice

About Hygienist: This office used to have great Hygienist but they now seem to have moved to other practices or have retired.
