He is a very good dentist. I had to switch from another dentist who worked in his building.

Dr. Petrofsky has the greatest personality! He helps you feel comfortable and relaxed, and he has a great sense of humor! I recommend him to everyone!

Dr. Petrofsky has taken wonderful care of me and my siblings and parents for 2 decades. We love him not just because he's an excellent dentist, but because he is a wonderful person. I go out of my way to continue to see him and would never consider another dentist. When I was a grad student he even gave me, "anonymously," a discount on treatments. The visits are actually enjoyable! I'll stick with him forever. And my teeth are beautiful :-).

I have been afraid of dentists ever since I was young. This is why I chose Steve. His specialty is helping clients who fear dentists.
His office has over 300 movies that you can watch while he works on your teeth. The movies drown out the sounds of the drills.
Also, what I have ended up doing is the happy gas. It makes everything easy as pie. You cannot watch a movie if you are using gas.
I am so glad to have found Steve. He is a very patient man.

I highly recommend Dr. Petrosky. I've been a patient of his for over 25 years, as has my wife, and now my kids. He is very gentle, thoughtful, easy going, and easy to talk to. He gives simple, frank answers to questions. But if you're interested, he is always willing (at times even eager) to go into all the details, chemistry, physiology, history, etc. He has an extensive DVD collection and a very comfortable video headset to wear, to make the time pass quickly. I've had a lot of dental work due to poor oral chemistry, but he has never been negative or scolded me, as if I could change it. He is conservative in his treatment, always fixing the near term problems promptly, but never trying to do all the work he could come up with. He is no longer covered by our dental insurance, but we've stuck with him, because we are so pleased with his work. He has always been reasonable about price and insurance coverage. We have been pleased with the various dental specialist he has referred us to, Orthodontist, Oral Surgeon, etc. His office staff are a pleasure to work with. He has been very cooperative about handling/scheduling dental emergencies, luckily very few. Highly recommended in every respect.

Dr Petrofsky does great work in a relaxing atmosphere. For longer treatments you can watch your favorite movie.
I am very picky about having a good dentist, especially who is proficient to give injections when and where needed. I've had bad experiences with other dentists and am glad to have found this dentist.
