I am only in Chicago temporarily and needed to get my teeth cleaned and whitened. I went to Dr. Usheroff and had a good experience. I've always had problems with my teeth and Dr Usheroff was able to spot decay that another dentist had missed. He fixed up my teeth, and I was comfortable throughout the somewhat unpleasant experience of having several crowns put in and several cavities filled.
I found the staff at Dr. Usheroff's office was especially great--very accomodating to my schedule, went out of their way to make my appointments close together, walked me through the pricing slowly and clearly, and were generally pleasant and reassuring.

I have had several crowns done by Dr Usheroff and I am totally satisfied. The crowns look beautiful and I havn't had any problems with these teeth since he worked on them. I find the office to be very friendly, caring and professional. I recommend Dr. Usheroff for dentistry.

I went to Dr. Usheroff because I was referred by a friend who had the doctor redo some ugly, chipped fillings and crooked teeth in the front of my mouth. I was so excited with my new teeth, they looked so natural!!! My friends thought I had just had them whitened. Everyone knew that something was different about me, however, no one knew that I had a smile make over. It was painless, took only 2 appoinments and I was treated like family. Dr. Usheroff took the time to explain every step, including making my temporaries look so perfect.
I highly recommend Dr. Usheroff . After consulting with several dentists, he was definately the right choice. He has made me look so awesome !!!!

I have always had a fine experience with Dr.Usheroff, but my husband thinks he is a little eager to drill/fill cavities. I usually don't have any cavities, so I can't really comment about that. He did make me a bite guard that I wear at night for my TMJ that I am happy with. My husband has also heard rumors about his license being suspended a few years back for prescribing narcotics to his family members. I have been seeing Dr.Usheroff for 5 years, though for full dental work, so it must have been before that.

Dr. Jerome M. Usheroff has been an innovator in the fields of general, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry for more than 30 years. Not surprising, he has completely transformed my smile! After 7 crowns, 3 root canals, and multiple procedures, I am looking and feeling great!
Additionally I would also highly recommend his staff. They worked closely with the volume of dental procedures relative to my scheduling and payment. What a great team!
I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Dr. Usheroff to my family and friends. Considering the complexity of my case, I feel that Dr. Jerome Usheroff's skill, knowledge, and artistry saved my teeth, and thankfully I am smilling again!

This was the worst experience of my life. I should have run after my initial cleaning when he gave a smart alec answer to a question. But someone may be great at his job and not so great a person. He was horrible at both for me. He was snippy with the help and snippy with me.
The moment I sat in his chair I tensed up and dreaded the next hour. Two times I told him I needed more novocaine and both times he blew me off. He seemed irked when I told him I was in pain. If you have a high tolerance for pain or are just going for a cleaning, you'll be fine. If you are anxious about visiting a dentist to begin with don't go to him. He has the worst chair-side manner. Not sympathetic at all.
Don't let him do a root canal on you. Skip him and go to an endodontist. He may not be able to finish yours and you'll end up going to the specialist anyway.
I don't know if I was over charged or if he is expensive. I feel like I paid a lot even after insurance.
Bottom line: Keep looking. I'm never going back and may not go to a dentist for a long time thanks to him. I'm done crying in a dental chair.

I recently went to Dr. Usheroff for laser teeth whitening. While I was uncertain whether the outcome would justify the cost, I was quickly overwhelmed by the great results. The procedure lasted slightly more than one hour and my teeth were instantly transformed into a dazzling shade of white. This was a tremendous accomplishment after all the years of cigar smoking and coffee drinking. I cannot say enough of the competence and attentiveness of Dr. Usheroff and his staff. For this I say, Thanks and keep up the good work! Well worth the investment of time and cost.

I have been to Dr. Usheroff's office about 4 times in the past 3 years and each time, something seems like little wonky with the office staff and the Dr. Perhaps part of it is the associated feelings of anxiety when visiting a dentist, but something is definately odd about this office. Also, my last treatment was a root canal and priced much higher than other offices in that area. Overall, staff is friendly.

His controlled substance license has been restored after being fined and having controlled subst. license indefinitely suspended in '99 for prescribing controlled substance for himself and his spouse and "excessively using controlled substances" -- so he's back in full business after some years of just doing limited cosmetic procedures that didn't require use of drugs. Dr. seems to be one of the best in the city. I've only had a deep cleening which has not been completed yet. I had troubles making my appointment, and was late to my next appointment due to the congested downtown location and problems parking (which runs me $20+ per visit. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. can be slightly rude and uncomfortable to communicate to when things aren't followed through excactly as he wants them to e. After the $18,000 job is finished,
i am confident I will be 110% satisfied. I will post
