I have been going to Dr. Knight's office for over 3 years now and I wouldn't change dentists for anything... Prior to Dr. Knight treating me, I would jump around every 3 months to different dental offices trying to find "the best" dentist and hygienists around and even after I went to Dr. Knight the first few times, I attempted to find a dental office that met my standards closer to my home and each and every time I was disappointed and regretted my decision to leave her. Now that I know without a doubt that Dr. Knight is the best at not only patient care but she does not try to sell you or treat you for something that you do not need, she will have to retire or I will have to die before I leave her again.... and by the way, her HYGIENIST IS THE BEST at removing everything from your teeth!
About Hygienist: Cathy is Dr. Knight's Hygienist and she is given 1 hour time slots for each patients cleaning and you never feel cheated of your money for the amazing job that she does... I am dreading the day she retires because I don't know what I will do!

We were recommended to Dr Knight by a family friend who had emergency work done on a broken tooth. Our friend's experience went very smoothly under stressful conditions. My wife and I have had awful experiences with dentistry in the past (and had been avoiding the dentist as adults) and were not looking forward to our daughter going through something similar. What a difference an expert, caring, professional person and environment has made in our family's life. Wow. She has inspired us to take better care of ourselves and trust the dentistry profession again. We are very fortunate to be in her care and hold her in highest regard. Dr. Knight is a great dentist. Her staff does one of the best jobs I've seen at a dentist office with a great personal touch. I've been her patient for over 10 years. They handle the insurance for you and have provided great services for all dental work. The office utilzes all the latest technology from sign in, x-rays, and equipment.
About Hygienist: Cathy is very friendly and personable. Does a thorough job and I never felt any discomfort while she has cleaned my teeth.

Dr. Knight is the most compassionate, thorough, and meticulous dentist I've ever had. She listens to my concerns (phobias), comforts me, provides medication appropriate for my pain levels, and most of all, does not cut corners on the procedure to speed it up in order to quiet me down. I know she will do everything that can be done and do a thorough job on my teeth. She knows my history every time I go in to the relaxing, familial office, and talks to me about my whole family. Nancy makes sure we all are up to date on our appointments and that's a huge help. I truly look forward to the appointments if not the work.
About Hygienist: Cathy is super. So vibrant, entertaining, and patient with my level of anxiety. My kids have come home remembering some cute stories she's told them instead of any discomfort with their dental care.

Hi there, Austinites (guys/gals)! My name's Shawn (guy) and I'm posting my comments of Dr. Karen Knight, DDS, and her office staff. I work/live here in Austin, TX. 1st of all, Dr. Knight is very professional, caring, and determined. Her ofc. clerk (Nancy) is most personable, willing to answer any/all billing questions, returning phone calls, etc. The dental techs are very customer-friendly, detailed of their work & procedures. Also, since I'm a military vet (US Marine & US Navy) of 14 years, I do 'salute' Dr. Knight of her prior military service (USAF). I would gladly recommend Dr. Knight's dental practice to any future dental patients, dental students and techs, Austin residents & their families, military members & others! Sincerely, Shawn S.

Dr. Knight & her staff are excellent! They are all very knowledgeable & friendly people. I first met Dr. Knight about 6 years ago for an emergency situation I had. My bridge had come off & I needed someone to re-attach it. I had trouble finding a dentist to do this until I found Dr. Knight. I guess my only complaint with Dr. Knight would be that she claims to be a Martin Landau fan yet she had no idea that Mr. Landau commanded Moon Base Alpha on "Space 1999". Oh well, you can't win them all.

I am a retired dental lab guy. I specialized in all porcelain crowns and veneers. I have worked with several very good dentists in town. In the interest of full disclosure I first met Dr Knight as a dental lab client but after working with her choose her as my family dentist. For general dentistry Dr Knight is outstanding. She does great esthetic work and is absolutely ethical and conservative in her approach. If she says you need some work, you need it. Her technique is excellent, I almost went to sleep during a root canal. Her staff is the best. Dr Knights fees are are very moderate for the quality of care.

Dr. Knight did excellent work restoring my chipped laminates, she really made me feel at ease~!
About Hygienist: Cathy politely let me know that there were some flaws in my basic understanding of oral hygiene, yet she was clear and concise with advice on how to keep up good maintenance. Thanks, Cathy~!

Dr. Knighr and staff (Cathy, Diana and Nancy) have made the visit to the dentist a normal and very much improved part of my life. I came to the office for a crown and got the best fit and finish I've ever had. Dr. Knight works well beyond the quick fix and seeks perfection. I continue to use this office for all my dental needs and have brought friends along with me. This is care beyond the norm.
