I have ben a 'fear patient' for years. Meaning: novocaine doesn't work on my, my heart rate goes way up and I am in teas at most appointments. Other densities have used nitrous and valium. After going though about 4 dentists in a few years and severely painful, stressful visits where I was in tears, I walked into this office and felt totally at peace. Don't mind it at all and think he may be the best in the area.

Dr. Uhde has been the dentist for my family of 5 for the past 15 years. He does a great job of keeping our teeth healthy and being sensitive to costs and treatment options. He and his employees are personable, helpful and professional (especially his receptionist, Joy). I would highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Uhde to everyone! I have been to many dentists over the years and I have found none better! His staff are efficient and friendly and they all take the utmost care with your teeth.

Dr. Uhde has a nice manner and provides very informative information about all of the procedures that he is going to do. This is really nice as you don't end up all concerned over what is going to happen. The other thing that I have liked about him is that he is fast. He is able to get the job done without requiring hours of time. He does a good quality job. I've also appreciated that they were able to squeeze me in once when I had some tooth pain for a quick check-up. His costs are on par with other dentists. His lobby is quite small, but it's not the lobby that I am there for. It's for Dr. Uhde.

Recently, Dr. Uhde performed a crown for me. I actually know another dentist personally, and when this other dentist looked at the temporary crown, he was amazed that it was only a temporary because the crown looked so great!
I have the permanent crown now, and Dr. Uhde and his staff were great! The staff is so nice and there have been the same staff at the office for the 5 years I have been a patient. Also, Dr. Uhde is very kind and he provides a peaceful atmosphere.

Dr. Uhde is very mellow and comforting. The procedures are always quickly completed. His hygentists/assistants are all very nice. And Joy at the front desk is a kick!

I have stopped going to this dentist because I did not like anything about the office at all. First, I agree that I wasn't always reminded of appts and one time they didn't have me down-they had me a day off. Second, every time there was flossing involved, they never flossed all of my teeth. The dentist himself seemed upset that I didn't have cavities. For all these reasons, I left.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Uhde's for the last 6 years. I find his chairside manner very comforting and non invasive, not to mention painfree procedures, including a root canal. His staff is caring and friendly - a reflection of Dr. Uhde's natural demeanor.
I believe many adult patients forget it is THEIR responsibility to make and keep appointments. If you want to be reminded of your appointment, write it in your calendar, Outlook or PDA - don't depend on your dentist's office. I have ALWAYS received a phone call from Joy (front desk manager) reminding me of my appointment the next day. I believe that is called customer service! A successful dentist is usually booked 6 months in advance - as in the case of Dr. Uhde. It is common knowledge most cleaning appointments are made every 6 months. Hence the need to schedule your appointment months in advance.
I have recommended Dr. Uhde to many friends, and they concur with me on his quality care, gentle demeanor, and customer service. I highly recommend Dr. Uhde and his staff.
