Bergstrom replaced a filling with a crown without doing the root canal and it got infected, had to be redone. He gave me too much nitrous oxide and I experienced extreme panic; actually thought I was dying. He did sloppy work and the tooth, to this day (5 years later) still requires additional work but I've been too scared to let any dentist touch it because it still has exposed nerves that when left alone is ok but extremely painful when touched. this man caused me to be distrustful at dentists and i have panic attacks when getting work done.

Dr Bergstrom saw my daughter for her first dentist's visit. It was an utter failure when his assistant filled the fluoride cups with too much fluoride foam. My daughter aspirated fluoride foam through her nose, and could not breathe (and promptly freaked out). I now have to fight with her tooth and nail to get her to a dentist (A different one of course) My wife had an expensive crown from him, which fell out a year later. He charged full price to replace it. Less than 10 months later it fell out again.

I know this doctor: 12 years

A good dentist, but seems uncomfortable talking about situations where he suspects the customer may be concerned (e.g., about cost) or even slightly critical. He provides information readily, though his answers may seem brief and require follow-up questioning. His facilities are very good, and prices are comparable to other dentists in the area. He does sedation dentistry, but is VERY reluctant to provide post-procedure prescriptions to manage pain. His list of credentials and training is long. Overall I'd say he is very adept at his craft, very professional, and I would recommend him.
