My favorite oral surgeon. I recommend him strongly. His staff is wonderful to work with.

Dr. Porter removed my wisdom teeth. I had one removed first, due to the fact that it was bothering me and that went off without a hitch. Well, of course, after a year or two, the other three needed to be removed. This also started out well, until about 3 or so hours after I got home. I did have quite a bit of pain during the first twenty four hours, but I don't not believe it was due to anything Dr. Porter did or did not due. He did prescribe pain medication, I was just slow in taking it, and had trouble keeping it down later. Dr. Porter and his office staff were very capable, efficient, and courteous. The proceedures went very smoothly and I was allowed to bring in a personal cd player so I could listen to my favorite music while mostly asleep. As with any surgery, there was a little bit of sticker shock to the cost of the three tooth removal operation. But it was that, an operation; and no medical operation is cheap. Overall, I think everything went very well. Dr. Porter and his staff were efficient, kind, and capable. The price for orally surgery, for any surgery for that matter, is a little high, but I think you get what you pay for in this case, and I think it was worth every penny.
