Dr. Israel was able to treat my jaw problem with logic and caring. He LISTENED to my medical history and diagnosed my TMJ as nerve damage not joint problems. He saved me from jaw surgery. With the use of the EZ flex (the original perhaps, this was back in 1998), I was able to stretch my jaw open again and gain normal use of my mouth. Twelve years later I am still without TMJ and still grateful to Dr. Howard Israel. His hair is no longer red, but neither is mine, but he is still a great doctor.

A very caring, down to earth doctor that really knows what he does. Explained in detail the procedure, trat me like a king, pain free. Staff was wonderful!

Dr. Israel did an orthroscopy on my 17 year old daughters TMJ. The very successful surgery was the end result of an unbelievably superior experience from our initial consultation to the follow up post -op visits. I love his candor as well as his humor. He kept a young woman terrified of needles, relaxed and virtually unafraid during the whole procedure. He is a God to us without the abrasive superior attitude many surgeons tend to exhibit. My daughter has no scarring and can enjoy eating without constant pain in her jaw. Her surgery was done at the NY Presbyterian Hospital in a surgical room by his office. It was out-patient yet he called us within 2 hours of us leaving to see how she was doing. He was very caring and sweet with our daughter and I will always love him for that.

I have had two implants. Exceptionally pleased. The office is great. I highly recommend Dr. Israel!

Dr. Israel has done 3 oral surgeries and one tooth extraction on me. He checks me regularly because of an ongoing condition. I couldn't feel more confident in the treatment and care he provides. Dr. Israel always lets me know what to expect during a procedure and manages my pain
magnificently . He is always there when I need him. I give him my highest recommendation.

Dr. Israel is professional,kind, competent and knowlegable. The office is mint clean. His staff assistants are very capable and cooperative. The office location is easily accesable.

I had an implant placed by Dr. Howard Israel... The surgery went well, and he called later to check on me.Dr Israel was with me every step of the way from consultation to pictures of my new crown. I am a very nervous patient and Dr. Israel and his staff couldn't have made the experience any easier for me. I would highly recomend Dr. Israel to anyone who needs oral surgery. Two thumbs up and five stars.

This guy ruined my life. Gave me such harsh antibiotics that tore up my digestive system. I have three Gastroenterologists that say his antibiotic use is inappropriate. Now i have permanent bowel problems. Thanks a lot Howard.

I have had such a good experience with Dr. Israel, his entire staff at Cornell, and his assistant Jen in Great Neck. He is an expert in the field of TMJ, which is why I'm a patient. I'm scheduled for an arthroscopy this month and will revise my review pending the outcome.
