Dr. Vasanthan is a Board certified periodontist and also a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is an invited speaker for the American Academy of Periodontology and has spoken at other national and international meetings. He has published scientific articles in many dental journals and serves on the editorial board of the Sacramento District Dental Society. He is a visiting professor at the Univ of Missouri Kansas City where he obtained his DDS and teaches dentists and dental students about periodontal surgery and dental implants.
