From my first visit I must say I was very apprehensive. Reason being I knew I was going to need anesthesia.. I had three impacted wisdom teeth with very difficult roots to remove. Something about Dr.Schaumberg during the consultation let me know that everything would be OK, so I went ahead and made the appt. Fast forward to the day of surgery. I was very nervous but soon calmed down. The surgery was quick. I woke up while they were finishing up but didn't feel a thing. I went to the recovery room for about 10 mins and went home with the care instructions they give you. Swelling for me is minimal (i thought it would be worse), and there is pain but bearable (i don't take pain meds). I received a follow up call later in the evening from Dr. Schaumberg checking on things. I would definitely recommend her as an oral surgeon. Very confident, knowledgeable, the office is clean (I visited the Tamarac office) and the staff is friendly.
