I was seeking a second opinion on Oral Surgery when a co-worker suggested Dr. Schaumberg. I called the office and was able to get an appointment within days. I went in and explained my unusual situation. (Nine months prior I had apico. surgery on three teeth and was still having pain and discomfort in two). She did the necessary x-rays and determined that I would need a second surgery to fix the problem. I was nervous about a second surgery in such a short time but Dr. Schaumberg was very professional and she explained in detail what my options were and the possible outcome. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. She also called my general dentist to explain what she was proposing. After a short consideration I decided to go ahead with the Apico, on one tooth. Having gone through the procedure before I was a bit nervous but Dr. Schaumberg and her assistant made me feel very comfortable. The procedure was done quickly and efficiently and within two days my tooth felt better than it had in months!! Two months later I had surgery on the second tooth, which is even more vulnerable. I'm still in recovery but pleasantly surprised at the result. Dr. Schaumberg is awesome!!!
