I first started visiting Dr. Blumenkranz a few years ago. On our first visit he mentioned that he didn't like dealing with HMO patients because he didn't receive a lot of money from them. During one of our sessions he kept taking personal phone calls during the middle of my surgery. Last year I had to reschedule several appointments because I suffered from back pain from an injury, and I was in a car accident. He refused to schedule me for an appointment, and lied to my dental company to request money for my "missed" appointments. What ever happened to the Hippocratic oath that doctors are supposed to swear by? I would not recommend ANYONE to him. At all.
