I was not impressed with Dr. Abramczyk's chair-side disposition. She seemed rushed and barely talked to me and when she did it was about her plans for HER schooling to be a naturopath (not exactly the type of information I wanted to hear from the doctor on my first visit). I would have preferred to learn something more about her practice here in dentistry, as I am very health-conscious and which is why I came to Dr Abramczyk due to her not using fluoride or mercury. Unfortunately, Dr. Abamczyk, nor the dental hygienist did not explain my xrays to me at all, they didn't even show me my own xrays (I am now going to a dentist who shows me the xrays and explains what is going on with my teeth so). Then I was told I needed a crown on one tooth, and, thats cutting out a lot of my own tooth so I wanted to get a second opinion since I did not get a good vibe from Dr. Abramcyzk and my intution was telling me to get a second opinion from Dr. Golab. He said that he didn't know why Dr. Abramczyk thought I needed to have a crown on that one tooth, instead he did an onlay and was able to leave more of my tooth intact that if i had gotten a crown.

About Front Desk: They were very nice and helpful for the most part. Although, I called to discuss with the receptionist at Smile Ranch Dentistry to inquire about if Dr. Abram did onlays and her view on them. I was told that she does not do onlays because she thinks they are weaker and will not last as long and can cause further issues as opposed to a crown. I did end up doing the onlay with Dr. Jonathon Golab because he at least explained things to me and said that and showed me the tooth dr abram was saying I needed a crown for and it wasnt that bad at all. Not sure why she doesn't do onlays but I would love to hear from her personally about why she doesnt use onlays.
