Please seek other orthodontist. So many unpleasant experiences to mention. Wish we read reviews before we came here. Agree with previous review-wouldn't take my dog here! Not knowledgeable, not reachable, dishonest, incompetent, disrespectful. Don't want to list anymore because this place makes my blood pressure go up! It's unbelievable!

About Front Desk: Hard to rate because turnover is so high.

I wouldn't take my dog to Dr. Sorbero. I live an hour and a half away. She would call just as we were getting to Albany to cancel our appointment, all the time . Her children would be there running around the office. She was unapproachable when we needed to talk to her. I had to take my son to another orthodontist, which cost me more money, but well worth it. She has a horrible personality and is all about herself. She needs to find another career!!!!!!

About Front Desk: They were ok.

My Experience: Braces

Duration: She never finished. I had take my sin to another orthodontist.

Dr. Sorbero and the entire staff are wonderful! They have treated my children with much care and tenderness. The staff is beyond sweet and courteous, we have not one negative thing to say! So glad we chose Dr. Sorbero

Very competent, nice, spent a lot of time with my child explaining the procedure very well. When my sons braces went on, he was so nervous. But the dr and staff made him feel comforted and when he left with his braces on, he was so happy!

About Front Desk: Very nice and accommodating

My Experience: Children's / Pediatric Dentistry

Hardly saw the doctor. Terrible work. Was offended when I asked for a meeting after 5 years and no progress. Personally scheduled my next appointment then handed me a letter when I arrived asking me not to return and would not refund money. Staff is incompetent and rude. Law suit pending as I have to now go to another orthodontist to do the same work for another $4200.00. She should have her license revoked.

About Front Desk: Terrible, rude staff that can not schedule, bill or handle customers properly. Audrey and Linda are the most rude office staff I have ever dealt with.

After waiting over an hour for every appointment, over 14 in all, one a month plus several for consultation, Dr. Sorbero's technicians worked with my daughter for over a year. Her technicians do all the work, and I was not consulted by the doctor in regards to my daughters progress. I had to request to see the doctor for a consultation. After almost a year, a horrible encounter occurred when trying to start/insert a head piece apparatus. The doctor basically pulled it out of my daughter's mouth which caused the insertion bars to scratch the insides of my daughters mouth. Dr. Sorbero literally pulled on the inserted head gear, which then dislodged two of the brackets which were cemented into place on my daughters teeth. My daughter was hurt and upset and left the office. Once I got my daughter calmed down and back into the Dr. Office, I was told by the office manager that the doctor did not want to continue working with my daughter. Being that she is a PC she has the right to deny any patient, any time. Mind you we were in the middle of her two year treatment. My daughter just turned 11 years old last week. This is no way to treat a child. When I requested a meeting with the Doctor, she refused to see me. The Office manager made a lot of excuses for the Doctor, but I would never, ever recommend this doctor to anyone!!! If your business is working with children, then you should work with them, and not hurt them, and then walk away! She has given my daughter an absolute horrible experience in going to the Orthodontist. Don't bring your child here!
