My experience started four years ago when I first went to Dr. Sinclair. I had an exam and was ready to have braces put on. I missed one appointment, then called to cancel another due to an emergency at work. When I called to reschedule I was told due to missing these appointments Dr. Sinclair refused to see me for any future appointments. I was not never told of their practice that rescheduling appointments would result in not being seen as a patient . I volunteered to pay for the missed appointments but he still refused to help me. Four years later I tried to go back to him for orthodontics. I explained that I no longer work for the company I was with at the time I had to cancel those appointments. Dr. Sinclair still refuses to take me as a patient. Now this is his prerogative, but I find it to be unprofessional especially since I was not made aware of this policy. I guess there is no Hypocritical oath when it come to orthodontics.

I took my daughter to him after 3.5 years with another ortho! Her "finished" teeth look like a bunny rabbit's teeth. Dr Sinclair is old school, brilliant, cutting-edge, and the best in Peoria -- bar none. They do a payment plan also. I would wholeheartedly recommend this ortho. He fixed the botched job of the other ortho. Very nice man, also. My daughter also thought the world of him.

My 2 children and several of our friends kids went to Dr Sinclair. He put braces on our kids when they were in 2nd- 5th grade. When the service was completed their teeth looked great, but guess what....the kids all grew and their teeth did not stay straightened and their overbites came back as their body changed. My daughter left their with beautiful teeth and no overbite, but was in 4 th grade. By high school her teeth were still straight, but her overbite came back aa she grew. My dentist said "why is your ortho not finishing his job?" When we went for our next check up, dr Sinclair said she needed surgery to put implants in her jaw bone. she was 14. She is now18 and has a 8 mm overbite, but I am not going to put her through a major surgery with a six week recovery time. Her overbite was the main reason for doing braces and the straightened teeth was secondary. I blame him for treating her / other kids too early. most of the kids all had to go back for a second round of braces because they had them too early and were not mature enough to wear retainers and as they grew their mouths changed too. I feel bad that I Irushed her into orthodontics and now she'll have to make a decision on this surgery.

My son and I first met Dr. Sinclair and was told that it would take 18 months to correct his teeth. My insurance only paid $1000 max. Toward the end of treatment I kept questioning the orthodontist because he was taking the braces off before it was time. He kept telling me that it was ok he knew what he was doing. For a whole year this went on. I had pictures taken before / after just like everyone else. No difference when the braces came off. Now he tells me that he will need them again. I asked if I had to pay for them a 2nd time beings he didn't do anything the first time. He said YES, Do you think I am going to give them to you free. He is a smart ... very cocky, rude and cares nothing for his reputation. He told me if I didn't like it then I could walk out the front door and never see him again. Why not he already had my money and the insurance money, right? Well I don't think he realizes who he made very very angry. There should be laws against people like him for taking money from people like me. (I have never missed an appointment with him nor my dentist for check ups etc.) He also will leave all braces on until they are paid in full. He will not take them off until then, isn't that against the law? I won't be back.

Both of our daughters had braces with Dr. Sinclair and staff. Friendly, always willing to work around our schedule, no wait to get in for an appointment if there was a problem.
