I was one of Dr. Derrickson's first patients on Ridgedale Avenue. I wanted to look him up umpteen years later, and was so sad to see that he had passed away. I remember him as being so upbeat, bouncy, optimistic, sincere, always smiling and laughing about something, and such a sweet and caring man. It was always a joy to go for my Orthodontic appointments, pain and all. Back in those days we only had those horrible metal braces that really hurt! RIP to an amazing, sweet man, who is fondly remembered.
