I would not recommened Dr. Prohaska because he did a terrible job on my teeth! I decided to get braces a few years ago, and picked Dr. Prohaska for some reason I can't remember.
He ordered for several of my teeth (3 of them good/without filings) to be pulled out, which at the time I didn't question. But now completely regret because they were my good teeth. My dentist was even angry that he ordered so many good teeth to be extracted. The braces are now off, and the whole course of treatment has been done, yet I still have gaps in the areas where those teeth were--Prohaska failed at trying to close those gaps!
He also shaved some of my teeth down without my permission! In addition, to that he did not educate me properly that if I brushed my teeth with braces on, it would cause my gums to to recede. All he and his staff would tell me was to brush my teeth; no warnings of repercussions spoken.
Overall, I would definitely not recommend Dr. Prohaska! Go see Dr. Buttner, she's better!

Drs Prohaska and Buttner performed orthodontic work on my daughter. They were painless, efficient, and her results were fantastic! They are not the cheapest orthodontic doctor to use, but the results and service they provide border on the royalty treatment. If there a problem/emergency arises, they get you in quickly. They offer motivational programs for their patients who take care of their teeth during treatment and they always offer you a wonderful 'going away' gift when you have completed your care. The drs and their staff are so wonderful!
