Great personality for kids, horrible with adults. Very condescending and patronizing. Not willing to spend more time than she has to when questions arise that need to be asked. Caused more problems with my teeth than when I walked in there a year ago. Wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

I found Dr. Tierney at www.gardencityorthodontist.com. She was nice and pleasant to deal with. I got my teeth whitened and my 2 daughters got braces. Their smiles are perfect and my teeth are white. i couldn't ask for a better orthodontist.

Dr. Tierney devotes too much time to socializing with her patients and not enough time to developing a plan of treatment. She took over 3 years to complete braces on 2 of my children and her end results were very disappointing. She left gaps between teeth and other teeth overlapping.

submitting to insurance, slow, no privacy in office. throrough explanation of work is above par. Not overly friendly to those who are well to do and upwardly mobile.
