Dr. Moore told us my 5 year old daugter needed 8 crowns and would need to be put to sleep. In July of 2005 he put the crowns on. A week later one of the crowns came off. He apologized and said that he was afraid that one didn't snap on correctly. There was no charge. A few months later another crown came off. He recemented that crown as well. In December a third crown came off. We waited untill after the holidays to make an appointment to have it recemented. Before the appointment in January a 4th crown had come off. A few days before her appointment we received a nasty letter from doctor Moore saying they would not file with our insurance any longer due to non-payment. We had never received a bill from him and did not know we owed him anything. When I called the secretary, she said we owed $40 for the last time they recemented a crown. I tried to explain to them that my daughter had done nothing to cause these crowns to come off, but Dr. Moore insisted he would have to charge me to redo them. The last crown came off while my Daughter was sitting in class. This is tottally unacceptable, and Dr. Moore is tottally unwilling to correct his mistakes.
