I was a patient who had Herbst Appliance about 15 years ago. As a result, I have had TMJ since the treatment and TMJ has caused ear problems, sinus problems and other issues. I was only 10 when Dr. Eastham scared my parents into me getting Herbst, but it was a terrible decision that I wish so badly I could take back.
