Dr. Coleman is awesome. I've been seeing him since I was little and I only have had two cavities. He's honest, cares about his work, and does a great job.

He's been our pediatric dentist for 12 years, even though we've moved further away. We initially went to Dr. Coleman after much research on dental care for our infant, who had a few cavities. He was the fourth or fifth Dentist I spoke to before finding one willing to work on our infant without using a general anesthesia. He used restraints, which is just bundling, and I think a local. It's way less convenient for the dentist than putting the kid under a general anesthesia, because the child is squirming and protesting. Most of the other dentists we checked out wanted us to sign a form promising not to sue if our kid died as a result of the general anesthesia, and stating that we understood that one out of every 10,000 kids was expected to die as a result of the anesthesia. Since we were too hld to have more kids, we didn't like the odds, especially since we're not taking the risk for an operation to save the child's life, but to save baby teeth! Coleman's office is plain. The office is fairly convenient to deal with, although we don't have dental insurance so I can't speak to that. They are less expensive than the few other dentists we know about.

Dr. Coleman is an old fashioned dentist with years of experience -especially with kids! He very cognizant of the fears and anxiety of children, and has his own unique way of soothing the anxiety of little ones when they are in his chair. Often it can do more harm, than good, to have parents present in the room and he has good judgement in these matters. I don't think he would out right prohibit a parent from staying with their child(ren). In his own awesome way, he soothes those fears and exhibits concern for his patients' dental hygiene. My brother was planning to pay additional fees to have his 5 y.o. anesthetize, in order to fill a cavity. Dr. Coleman, filled my nephews cavity w/o putting him "under" and gained my nephew's trust!

Dr. Coleman is an incredibly good dentist and his staff is professional and courteous. My children have been going to his office for 14 years (oldest is 18 and youngest is 7). He has given good advice whether or not braces would be necessary and he emphasizes preventative treatment. His staff speak several different Asian languages and Spanish also. Billing has always been correct and they have dealt well with my insurance company. Chair side manner is fine. I highly recommend Dr. Coleman.

I think Dr. Coleman is a great Dentist. My brother and I have been going to him our whole lives. I am now 25 and he 27. Because of him I really love going to the Dentist! He is interested in my life and keeps track of my studies. His staff are curteous and nice and I have never had any problems.

I find the staff completely unprofessional. After my son's last visit, not only did the staff hound me for a $10 co-payment that I refused to pay because I had a credit on my son's account, they called me 3 times, and send me a nasty letter demanding the $10. What part of there is a credit on the account, the insurance will pay 90% on top of that do they not understand? I found the staff to be extremely ignorant. I discontinued going to the office and a year and a half later, I still have to call and demand my $39 dollar credit. How do they feel now that the shoe is on the other foot? I guess I'll have to keep harrassing them. Do not patronized this office, it will give you a headache!!!

I find Dr. Coleman to be extremely rude and insensitive to children. He does not allow you to go back with the child, which I understand in some instances, however, when your child has just gone through a traumatic experience and he won't let you back then I say it's time to go. He also tells your child that whatever it is that he is doing does not hurt, when in fact it does. What is that teaching the child? That what she is going through and the feelings she has are not valid? In this day of predation upon our children, a mother needs to listen to her kids. If your kid says he/she does not like Dr. Coleman--RUN!

Dr. Coleman does not allow parents into the patient area. Not even on the first visit. Nor does he come out to meet parents and introduce himself. Dr. Coleman also has a very bad attitude. When I first brought my 3 1/2 year old to see Dr. Coleman, he would not let me into the patient area, he sent a staff person out to bring my son in, when my son called for me I could hear him punishing my son behind the door. Image...someone you've never met or seen the face of scolding your child. I felt very uncomfortable and said that I would like them to open the door. They said that my son was okay, but would not open the door. I had to threaten to jump over the window for them to open the door. Needless to say we left! This place is creepy...avoid at all costs! In this day and age Dr.'s need to understand that parents would at the very least like to see the facility and meet the dentist caring for our child.
