My biggest issue with this dentist was the cost. My out of pocket, with ins, was more than an adult exam including xrays. I brought my two year old in for his first check-up. The waiting room was dated, but clean and had plenty of things for the kids to look at. We waited for almost 45min after our appt time to be called, which annoyed me because, for a two year old this is pretty much the limit of the patience. The hygenist was very very sweet. She took it slowly and allowed my son to get comfortable. She explained that this really wasn't a full cleaning/treatment but just to get him introduced to the experience. (She said more times than not the kids wont even open their mouths). My son was a gem, though, and she did just a very quick (literally about 2 second) polish and brush with flouride (about 4 seconds). This was good, though, so that my son had a nice, quick experience. Dr Singer then came and did a very quick (again, about 15 seconds if that) look in my son's mouth to verify that his hygiene and alignment looked good. Again, overall an unextraordinary but nice first visit to introduce my boy to the whole 'dentist' experience. I have Delta Dental which pays for 80% of costs. My portion alone came to almost $50

I personally know Dr. Singer and he is a very generous and kind person. He is very welcoming and always is very compasionable. The negative review about him is sickening because I have been around him long enough and he is the only dentist I know with a creative office and video games in waiting room. He treats the kids like they're his own. He cares enough to spend his own time and money to set up a halloween maze to support local charities. He is a great dentist

My kids love Dr. Hartzel & his staff. They can't wait for their cleaning appointments every six months. The staff is great and extremely helpful. They have enough staff and chairs that you hardly have to wait very long. They get you in and out fast and their office is beautiful. Great Dentist Experience.

Their facility is like going to a cheap saloon for your hair to be done. Kids are lined and crunched up in one room. A dental assistant are the ones making the cleaning. I don't know if their apparatus are being sterilized. Dental assistants got the BIG ATTITUDE. They never make a child's first visit less traumatizing as possible. One dental assistant just gave up on a child just because he doesn't want to open his mouth. How can she simply give-up? If they're trained to deal, in an appropriate manner, with kids of different age, how can she yell? How about coaxing a child in a positve manner as what pre-school teacher do? Were they trained well? I don't think so! Just to think of it, it's her first attempt! And they claimed that their office is kid-friendly. My, my, my! Does a gothic style, halloween, dark and dingy office, in any way kid-friendly to you? Since kids are crunch up in one place for cleaning , transfer of infections are extremely high and extremely a potential danger to children. Control of infection is not being considered as their first priority. Privacy is also one issue to be discussed with. Given that kids are crunched up in one place, you could hear a doctor's diagnosis to one child.

Dr. Ron is the best ped dentist in the world! My son LOVES to go to him. His staff and he are always pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing to both parents and children. I haven't ever heard a child screaming or saying that they don't want to be there. Dr. Ron makes sure all my concerns are addressed. I wish he took adults!

Went to Dr. Singer for second opinion, when another dentist claimed my kids had numerous cavities. He rechecked the kids, took x-rays, reviewed the other dentist's findings, and found no cavities. The staff was great, very caring and thorough. He is well respected in the Valencia community, I had used him before when my kids were small, and found he was excellent. He saved my kids from needless pain.
