Horrible!! My 4 yr old 1st visit. She did not like Mr .Sluppy (The spit vaccum) and wiggled. Dr. Greenwald said if you don't sit still someones is going to get hurt! My daughter still sqirmed a bit and Dr Dana asked me to leave the room so they could restain her(my 4 yr old) I refused to leave. Dr Dana stood up flicked off her surgical gloves and stormed out of the room. CRAZY! You don't ell a 4yr old they are ooing to get hurt or restain them to count the abbay teeth. Advice don't go to her! She is unstable.

I would defiantly NOT recommend DR Greenwald. her practice is very busy and impersonal. its so busy that the dental tech meet you and your child with a mask still on their face which would be very scary for small children. however the worse part about the practice is that Dr Greenwald who give you no more than 10 min on her time missed a cavity on my son's tooth. so 7 and half months later when i went back for a cleaning, his cavity had become so large that we now had a dental emergency on our hands. we were heading out of town and the tooth had to get fixed before we left, we ended up meeting a specialist and she had to squeeze us in, we had never met her before my son totally freak out. we had no time to ease him in to the solution. all because Dr Greenwald had missed his cavity during a regular check up. she is way to expensive and does not do a good job. Find yourself another dentist

My children absolutely love going to Dr. Dana Greenwald. The service is fast, professional, and very child-oriented. I was very impressed.

Dr. Greenwald is a great dentist. The kids love her. However, her office staff is horribly rude and not accomodating in the least. She is also very expensive.

Dr. Dana makes the kids comfortable and happy - every trip to the dentist is a success. Sunglasses, lots of jokes, and kind staff are all terrific. She works well with other specialists: orthodontists, etc., which has gotten us through the unexpected smoothly. My 6'2" son doesn't want to shift to an "adult dentist".

Dr. Greenwald's practice is one of the most popular with kids (and therefore parents) in NW DC. The atmosphere is lively and fun. The staff is top notch and Dr. Dana keeps everyone laughing and on their toes. The treatment rooms are high-tech and very comfortable, and parents are encouraged to actively participate in their child's treatment. At the end of the appointment, girl patients get free designer manicures and boys get rub on tattoos. The only drawback is that Dr. Dana does not participate in any insurance plans and her prices are reflective of the affluent neighborhood she works in.

Best pediatric dentist in DC. No questions!!! My kids felt at home and they loved the experience. We have since moved to another state and wish we could find a dentist like Dr. Dana.

We went to "Dr. Dana" for 7 years and LOVE her. (We recently switched only because she is SO far from where we live and with the kids in school, it is too hard to get there.) We read about her in a Wash Post article, and she is everything it said. We went to her initially because my 3 year old was afraid even to get his hair cut. Dr Dana has funny names for the equipment, puts funny glasses on them, and is herself just plain funny, talks at a kids level, and gives very professional service. she and her staff are very gentle and very very kid friendly. the dentist we now go to on the hill is just a regular dentist and my kids say her dental hygenist hurts. they don't like going.... we were so spoiled that i am considering returning to Dr. D. She's the best.

The staff is warm and friendly and 'Dr. Dana' interacts with my children on a personal level. While the visits are a bit on the high end ($), we have always been reimbursed 100% by insurance. However, they do not process insurance and you must submit claims personally. I feel she doesn't push procedures and always tells the children they are doing a good job.

My kids love Dr. Dana and Dr. Hilary. Where else will your dentist have a water fight with the tooth rinser? It's expensive, but worth the peace of mind of my children. Hands down this office is the best. The hygienists are fun, cool, and really like the children. The receptionists are kind and patient. There has never been a wait - I have three children and we are all done in about 45 minutes. You won't regret your decision to try this place out.
