My children have been using Athens Children's Dentistry for a couple of years. My middle child had a filling done last year and had to have an extraction of two upper eye teeth last month. While he was putting the shots into her gum he slipped and hit his finger and then proceeded to reinsert the same needle into my child's gum. My child became scared when he tried to do two more fillings and he became very rude, took his gloves off and rudely told his assistant to "refer" her out for light sedation. When I took her to the new dentist we learned that while doing the first filling he drilled so deep that when he put the filling in, it was sitting on the nerve. My daughter is now facing an extraction of that tooth because of Dr. Crawford's poor work! He has scared my child to the point that a routine dental visit now requires sedation.

Horrible. Did not introduce himself and then immediately wanted to take my girls to the back and wanted me to wait in the waiting room!! bad attitude and not good with kids!!

Music blaring was inappropriate for children. Pulled my daughter's loose tooth without ask me or warning her, while the assistant held her head down with her forearm! Assistant tried to block her from running out to me & front staff locked her in while I'm in the waiting room hearing her scream & can't get to her. Everyone had condescending attitudes with zero compassion. They have no business working with children! On top of that, they charged my insurance to pull the tooth that we were perfectly capable of pulling!
