Very impatient with young children. Seems to think taking kids to the 5000 dollar surgery center is the only option for treatment for young children with 4 cavities. gets very agitated when you ask for other options . His hygienists are wonderful. I have no idea how they can stand to work for this guy. We switched after consecutive bad experiences and were able to get the work done on my 5 year old with out checking in to st Luke's. she was not traumatized like Dr. Emory insisted she would be nor was minimal sedation in office " child abuse" as he told me it was after refusing to complete work on her mid treatment because she was to "wiggly".

I was very careful in selecting a dentist who was willing to work with my daughter who has autism. He was very patient, and obviously has good experience with this population of kids. I have found him to be the best in our area for understanding the unique needs of children who have extreme anxiety, behaviors, and other challenges associated with kids with special needs. He is also great with my younger daughter too.

Dr. Emory does not like to deal with kids that what i got from this experience. We took our son in and we knew he needed work but when we took our 4 year old daughter he told us the same work would get done to her and her teeth were not as bad as our son. I did not like him.

AWFUL billing practices, AWFUL costumer service, unwilling to work with you, business information is not up front, hidden fees, HIGH Finance fee if you can't make the MAX payment they want you to pay. They don't communicate to you up front about your plan, went behind our backs to do more treatment then originally agreed upon, and then charged us tremendous amounts of money after we paid the max we could afford, then took us for a run financially. We felt like they used the ol' bait and switch tactic with us. Please, DO NOT go to this company. When we explained our situation to them and gave them the amount we could pay on a monthly basis (because at this point we now owe three companies money that we had not originally budgeted for to treat our son), only TWO of our dollars is going toward the principle, 17 of it is a finance charge.

3 children---Dr. Emory's office manager did not process claims with dental companies, they considered us a bad debt, balance paid in FULL and because the office manager, NANCY did not like that I asked that she do her job, they asked us to no longer be a patient---MIND you, 3 children, numerous referrals to his office. HORRID, HORRID office personal---too bad his office staff is completely unprofessional, they cost him business. FYI, if you need a competent office staff, do not use this office!!!!!! Customer service is everything to a small business, wish Dr. Emory well in figuring that out in a slow economy!

My daughter is a toddler and after having been treated by Dr. Emory when I was younger I had chosen to go to him. I have never been treated so terrible and so pushed around by anyone, in any aspect of customer service in my life- Her Father is deployed and they were completely unwilling to help me with anything regarding her treatment, insurance, or getting a referral to another Doctor. When pressed to help they would completely refuse and snap at me. The Officer Manager, Nancy, completely forgot to schedule my daughter's appointment resulting in my daughter's cracked tooth to go untreated for more than 2 weeks. When asked why she had 'forgotten' the appointment she only became upset and accused me of not calling back- when I had left several messages. Can you imagine a 2 year old with a completely cracked molar, being un treated? I am so disappointed and will tell anyone I meet to avoid this office AT ALL COSTS.
