I loved my experience. My son has special needs and high anxiety. We had an emergency situation and he received 5 star treatment. After that appointment, I knew we had found our new dental home.

About Front Desk: Exceptional. They reviewed my insurance, presented a treatment plan outlining services that were needed. Explained everything in a way that I was able to understand.

I took my 4 year old son to Dr. Udelson in an emergency situation-- he had a chipped tooth and our regular dentist was not available. The waiting room is nice. My son was at ease with the fish tank and the video games. The support staff was very kind. We were able to sit down and talk about my son's needs before and after the exam. I think my son's problem was treated effectively and he left the office with the problem under control. The downside? Parents are not welcome in the exam room with their children. My child is a shy preschooler who has never had any serious dental issues. He needed a root canal to fix his dental problem and he had to go through the whole thing without me. When I asked the nurse if I could accompany my crying son into the exam room she replied, "If we allow you to go in, what will will we tell the other parents?" In addition, parents should know that their children may be placed on "papoose boards" during long or painful procedures. This is a straight-jacket that keeps your child from moving, wiggling, or waving their hands during the dental exam. (Google it-- you'll find photos)

My son has been going there for about 5 years and he loves it. The doctors are nice and professional. They are very good at explaining what has been done and what needs to be done in the future. The assistants are also very friendly and have a way of making one feel right at home! My son had to have a filling and didn't even know when the doctor had given him his shot. Very good! He is now 16 and going to start going to the general practitioner in the same office, so it also makes for a nice transition phase.
