I used to work for this office for over 10 years. I have worked in other offices and this place is by far the best!!! I wish I could of continued to work there but, I no longer live in Illinois. Miss them like CRAZY!! These guys are very caring and patient. They also do excellent work.

My daughter seems happy enough to go to the dentist, but then she gets scared in the chair. Dr. Fippinger has let her sit on my husband's lap during the entire exam so that she'd be cuddled. I'd say that he's very caring and patient.

My 10 1/2 year old son has been coming to Dr. Fippinger when the practice was at the old office. He had just gotten his first teeth. Since then, we have had regular dental service. I have NOTHING but the highest regard for everyone in the office. I have had other dentists in this practice do cleanings over the years when Dr. Fippinger was unavailable, and all of the staff are extremely patient, kind, and professional. The office staff is so helpful while making appointments or getting receipts for insurance, or school forms, as well. Dr. Fippinger referred us to Dr. Barry Walvoord for braces, and that was spot-on, too. Forget that the office is sweet and the decor extremely calming, cool, and child-friendly. Just know that Dr. Fippinger (he looks like Jerry Garcia!) is a mellow guy who is not rude or brusque, contrary to other reviews. He's great with kids, uses state-of-the-art technology to make dental work as fast and painless as possible. That's why he is all 5 of my kids' dentist. By the way, I moved to Lincoln Park and I STILL cart the kids to E-Town to see this guy! Please note, when you have insurance, it is hard to tell what is cheap or expensive- I suspect he charges what insurance companies will pay

My son's first visit to the dentist could not have gone better. The waiting area is calming yet also provides some nice distraction to the wait with a lovely fish tank and plenty of books to read. I actually appreciated the fact that there weren't any toys to play with, as I feel like those play areas are generally just a germ factories. Dr. Fippinger's staff was very kind and accommodating, and the doctor himself was great. Calming, reassuring, and not too over the top with enthusiasm, which I've heard is the problem with most pediatric dentists. I recommend Dr. Fippinger wholeheartedly!

While the office looks like a five star spa and the staff is very friendly, Dr. Fippinger was extremely rough and impatient with our five year old child. We actually pulled her out of his chair and ended the exam. His behavior was bullying and not at all patient or compassionate. His partner, however, Dr. Simon, is a wonderful doctor, incredibly patient and would highly recommend her as a dentist.

Was nervous about taking my 2 year old for his first dentist visit because he's a "screamer." Dr. Fippenger was so patient and the customer service was awesome. They definitely made ME feel less stressed!

I found him to be extremely rude, both to my daughter and myself. I switched my daughter to his partner, Dr. Simon, after one visit. Dr. Simon seemed nicer, but did a terrible job of psychologically preparing my child for her treatment, and ended up scaring her so much that she was screaming while on nitrous oxide. I'm now looking for a new pediatric dentist. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE.

My daughter is autistic and it has been a huge struggle to find a Dentist capable of working with her. My experience with Dr Fippinger was marveling. He did the work no one else has been able to do for us. Truly a remarkable experience. Thanks!
