Dr. Shaw and his team are great. However the gals at the front desk are not very friendly at all!!!

Dr. Shaw was very inflexible in regards to treatment of my son. Dr. Shaws approach was invasive and uncomfortable for my son. My son began to cry as Dr. Shaw picked him up and sat him on his lap, then as he sat him in the chair. I suggested that we try a different approach, perhaps sit on my lap but he became abrupt and said he won't do that. He stated that this was a typical reaction of a 4 year old. My son has been to the dentist before and there were no problems. My son has no idea who Dr. Shaw is so why shouldn't he cry. Every child is different so I think a PEDIATRIC dentist would suggest alternative options if a child is uncomfortable.
