I Highly Recommend this Dental Office! Great Experience
I've been going to this dental office off & on (because I move alot & travel all over the world for my job) for the last 10 years & there's no comparison.Very GOOD, Very HONEST.Very THOROUGH. Very KNOWLEDGEABLE, QUALITY thru & thru.The dentist understands & knows her job.You can tell that this place is not an insurance run mill-house dental office.THEY CONCENTRATE ON YOU as a patient! & not overly concerned with what the insurance company dictates to their patients, that's not their job! They know what needs to be done& they make sure to follow thru.If that's your definition of pushy, then they are.But I'm a HAPPY patient here & I've been everywhere else. This IS the dental office I recommend to ALL!

I wasn't please with the billing process. I felt that Dr. Magno and her staff could have done a better job of explaining what was and wasn't covered by my insurance before performing procedures.

The dental hygienist butchered my teeth- he is telling me that he wants to be a sports writer as he is butchering my gums. I left with a cut on the inside of my lip and a new disdain for the dentist. Dr. Magno herself is a nice enough person however she handled my mouth a little too roughly and used a laser to detect cavities??? I prefer the old fashioned way of looking at x-rays (which also hurt like h**l) The icing on the cake is that they tried to get me to invest thousands of dollars on the spot to fix my mouth!!!
On a better note I have a fabulous denitst in Concord, not at all close to home but the trip is worth it.

Dr. Magno and her staff are wonderful. I have had some of the best oral surgeons and dentists work on my mouth over the years, both in the U.S. and Europe and I can safely say that Dr. Magno's care is the most thorough that I have ever experienced. She uses state-of-the-art, up-to-date equipment, and favors overall dental care, i.e. Patient's are educated on how to take care of their teeth/mouth when not in the office, and as a patient you are made to feel that your dental care is a team effort with Emeryville Dental Care as the cheer leaders. Dr. Magno and her team are currently in the process of saving me from the enormous expense of potential root canals, and saving my gums from further recession. I cannot recommend Emeryville Dental Care, and Dr. Magno enough; try them for yourself.
