Well, I wish I could give a better review for Dr. Comfortes. Let me preface this by saying this review really reflects his office staff more so than the work he does.
Me and my whole family have been patients of Dr. Comfortes for probably over 20 years. I've noticed that within the last year or two his office staff have become not the most pleasant to deal with and have made errors that have costed me money. Specifically, I went in to have 2 cavities filled and some other work done. I asked the office staff, prior to service, whether my insurance covered the treatment, whether it would all be taken care of, etc. and they said "yep, you're all good." In fact, the receptionist took my new insurance card to verify with my insurance, presumably, that it would.
Then comes the explanation of benefits and to my surprise, it did not cover everything. In fact, I had a balance of over $700 out of pocket. The insurance company stated that he was not in network and that "his fees were far higher than what the plan allows for dentists in the area."
Upon trying to resolve this with his staff, I had people not call me back, months go by without getting a response, and when I spoke to Ade at his office (whom I've never dealt with befo

Dr. Comfortes has done many procedures on me from filling cavities to teeth whitening. He always handled my mouth with care. I hate needles and he made the shot painless when filling my cavities. One thing that separated him from other dentists I have been to was the quality of his work. While it may be a few more dollars to go here, the difference is quality is well worth it. I would rather pay more and have my crown last for 20 years then pay a little less and have to replace it in 5 years. Dr. Comfortes is honestly the best dentist around. I would HIGHLY recommend him.
About Front Desk: The lady in the front was very nice and friendly. She helped me find a good time for my next appointment and offered to send me a text reminder when it got close to that date, very helpful!

About Hygienist: I don't remember the ladies names but I've had different ones each time. When they clean my teeth it's painless. I have had other hygienist at different dentists where they would poke my gums and it would hurt very bad. This has never happened here and that alone is enough for me to come back.

As a loyal patient for many years, I can highly recommend Dr. Comfortes. He is a great dentist who cares about his patients. He tries very hard to make the dental experience as painless and stress-free as possible. He is careful to explain various procedures and problems, and the best way to handle them. I have had numerous fillings, crowns, and cleanings at his office and the staff is always very courteous and professional. If you've ever been afraid to have work done on your teeth, Dr. Comfortes will help you.
