I agree with the other review that Dr. Rob contrives treatment plans to maximize the bill. Dr. Rob didn’t understand our cautious approach, so he took it personally and became agitated. To try and prove his point-of-view, he said my seven-year old daughter with baby teeth would need six root canals to be done in one session with a needle in her leg for sedation. Our new dentist didn’t recommend any root canals, and the bill was much less. Please be cautious with recommended treatment plans for baby teeth and look for a holistic approach.

Cons: Riesenberger accepts no insurance and expects immediate payment. Staff consistently contrives treatments to maximize bill. They claim to help with paperwork and work within insurance guidelines BUT they don't. Overpriced and deceptive billing. Not impressed with time spent or thoroughness. Pros: Kid-friendly. If you value competence and fair value over charisma Riesenberger is not a good choice.

My son has an autism spectrum diagnosis and Dr. Rob has been very good at handling his quirks and sensativities. Our previous pediatric dentist nearer to home seemed uncomfortable dealing with my son and offered treatment suggestions that included having dental work done with anesthesia in a hospital. Dr.Rob uses in office sedation and though the procedures were extensive (crowns, fillings and even unfortionately an extraction), everything went well and my son is not terrified of the dentist's office.

My seven year old daughter actually looks forward to seeing Dr. Rob-even though her treatment is not the norm for dental care-it's serious stuff! He has a wonderful bedside manner and is great with children. The receptionists and billing clerk are patient and thorough with thier explanations regarding treatments, payment options and benefits. We love this office, I travel over an hour to see him although there are numerous pediatric dentists right in my own neighborhood.
