Dr. Karzen did my dentures 5 years ago. Just recently had them adjusted while doing some other dental work. Can't believe they lasted so long. She is kind, very concerned that you are comfortable and I recommended her to my mother in law who has been a patient for about 3 years. Her staff is fantastic, too!

Dr. Karzen was the consummate professional and the office staff was warm and inviting. Iwent in to get a tooth extracted. The first time, there was not cost and they were helpful getting my dental provider info. The second time, they took payments form friends calling on my behalf and the payments were extremely minimal. I will be back for my teeth cleaning in couple of weeks and Dr. Karzen will be my dentist from this day forward while i'm in socal. I would highly recommend Dr. Karzen.

About Hygienist: Staff was professional, warming and friendly.

I have been seeing Dr Karzen for over 10 years. I use to go to her Westwood office and now I go to her Encino office. She is very gentle and caring. I was very afraid of going to the dentist before seeing her and she always puts me at ease. Dr Karzen's staff is great too!!

About Hygienist: my cleanings are awesome

I used this service to read reviews of Dr. Karzen before going to her practice... and was very shocked to not agree with her positive review. The only work I had done was to get an old filling that Dr. Karzen said was loose replaced (though now that I think about it, I'm not so sure it actually was loose, as it wasn't bothering me... maybe she just wanted to be able to charge me for a filling even though I didn't have any cavities)... The positive? I didn't feel a darn thing when she did the procedure. The negative? I was in constant pain for 2 months (to the point of not being able to eat) because she hit a nerve but, thanks to all the anesthetic (more shots than I've ever had),I couldn't feel anything the at the time, therefore couldn't complain of any discomfort... Also, when I first read there was a TV in the room, I thought that was kind of cool... Except that Dr. Karzen's eyes were on Judge Judy when she was using the drill in my mouth... which is probably why she hit a nerve! I would absolutely not recommend Dr. Zarzen or her office. This was the worst dentist experience I've had in my life.

About Hygienist: The hygienist dug into my gums with a pointy object when I said I couldn't afford the expensive cleaning the doctor recommended and that I could only afford what my insurance paid for at the moment... She scraped my gums and (obviously!) they bled... in hopes of convincing me to doll out an extra $300 I didn't have because "Look! Your gums are bleeding!"... I went home with welts and deep cuts on my gums... Though some of them might also have been from the drill that Dr. Karzen was moving around haphazardly on the opposite side of my mouth to where the filling was that she was supposed to be replacing... So many shots of anesthesia that I couldn't complain at the time... only think it was very strange!)

She's my children's dentist. Very nice. Patient. Great with kids. Her staff are very nice as well.

Very friendly & accommodating to my whole family. Market-rate charges & requires uncovered charges to be paid at time of service, with SOME flexibility for larger expenses. Both Dr. Karzen & her staff are warm and caring, good with small children.

This is a great dentist! I left the dentist close to where I live in West LA to go the Dr. Karzen in Encino. Just tell her you're a wimp and she'll take care of the rest. I only wish porcelain veneers were more affordable.

Dr. Karzen and her staff are unbelievable. It was like stepping out of the dark ages from old, out of date, anxiety driven dentists to a very comfortable and pleasant visit. The DirectTV in the room was a great bonus. No more waiting for ever looking at archaic magizines. You get full control of the remote. The staff is great as well. They tell you what they are doing every step of the way. Tip: Parking under the building is 85 cents every 20 minutes, up to $8. Park at Borders across the street for free

Good, but very expensive. Lots of treatments recommended were not covered by our insurance, so had to pay out of pocket.
