Eric and his staff has always given my family expert care. He is personable, compassionate and great at his "actual" job of knowing what is going on with our teeth and gums. He is a dentist you will always go to, there is no need to change.
About Hygienist: Personable and professional. They always want to know how you feel as they proceed.

A dentist should be: doctor first, business man second. If you believe this, then Shapiro is not the guy for you.
He wanted the cost of a series of dental work paid up front (over $5,000), just in case the insurance didn't pay. After some work started (and mostly paid for) the assistant would not schedule my last appointment, to have the work completed, until I paid my co-pay. (she would not even bill) Who does this?! is this even legal? forcing payment before they fulfill their contract and complete the work.
Also, I told them, that we may have to work quick as my company is having layoffs and I may not have insurance next month. Guess how my treatment went the next time I came in !? He jammed the needle in, left the room while then numbness set in, returned after 10 min and said "so, what's going on with your insurance?"
Really?! I'm numb, you should start working; it's not the time talk money.
Plenty of good dentists out there; I do not recommend this one.

Dr. Shapiro and his staff are the best. Always a pleasant experience. Friendly, professional and highly recommended.

Dr. Shapiro is a little on the aggressive side in terms of his recommendations for procedures and xrays, but otherwise seems competent.

My new veneers are beautiful. I can't stop smiling now!!!! They really changed my life. The staff was fantastic....very friendy and relaxing. It is like going to visit friends and family! Thank you Dr. Shapiro.
