We started with Dr. Smutka when we moved to Seattle in 1986. All of my three children saw him. The youngest graduated in 2007. He is professional, makes good recommendations and was there for us in our one emergency (2 1/2 year old collided with the tub and broke a tooth). The kids liked him and never tried to avoid appointments. The hygienists are nice as is the office staff. We also liked his partner when we saw him b/c of scheduling issues.

A wonderful human being and a first rate professional. Both of my children have been his patients since early childhood........one is graduating from high school this year. we were a bit traumatized when he told us it was time for her to move on to an adult dentist............but the reasoning was purposeful, just as his advice always is. young people who are going to college need to establish a relationship with their new dentist prior to leaving home. sound advice. so she did select the dentist he recommended and of course, that new relatonship is teriffic too! everyone in the office is first class; helpful, friendly, efficient and appropriately sympathetic. Can only recommend highly this office and the services therein.
