Needing to find a dentist in a hurry due to a toothache, I felt very fortunate to have found Dr. Poneh; she was able to see me the very next day. Not only did she promptly take care of my immediate needs, but she and her staff got me back on a program of returning to proper dental health and care. Not only have I found Dr. Poneh and her staff to be consummate professionals, but they treat their patients with the utmost respect and courtesy. Having always had extreme anxiety about visiting the dentist, I found that Dr. Poneh and her wonderful staff made it much easier for me to return for regular care.

My friend recommended Dr. Afar because another dentist had placed a couple of implants for me about wo years prior that had not been successful and caused me a lot of hardship and pain. Dr. Afar was very frank with me and told me right off the bat what I had in store if I wanted a successful treatment (the placement of several implants in my lower jaw). I had lost significant bone, and so the first step was to restore the bone with bone grafts. Dr. Afar told me that if i didn't quit smoking (smoking reduces the chance of implant success by up to 40%!)- he wouldn't recommend implants to me again. So...long story short, I did as he said, followed his advice to the letter, and my treatment plan has been a great success and enahnced the quality of my life by a million percent!!
I would recommend Dr. Afar to anyone and everyone!! He is extremely ethical, caring, conscientious, and never takes a shortcut on quality!
