I had a full implant bridge done by Dr Caplanis. Best decision I ever made. This guy is very talented. His staff especially Jessy and Eric made the procedure relatively stress less. I did a lot of research before I pulled the trigger to do treatment. He's a pretty famous guy from what I gathered when doing my homework. I give him 5 stars out of 5.

Too aggressive in treatment. Cares more about the $$$ to be made. Regret going to him. Performs unnecessary procedures without thinking about the patient's financial situation.

Dr. Caplanis as professional he is quite knowledgeable in his field, but he is no gentleman, he is bold and cold detached of his personel, the time I visit he was rude to his employees, and making not so professional comments about them, He might be a great doctor, well recognized and all but he is not a good person

Dr. Caplanis did my son's bone and gum graph in preperation for an implant. I was so impressed by this doctor. He is incredibly conscientious of his patients well being. My son was put into twilight, which is conscience sedation, Dr. Caplanis took care into explaining everything to me and making sure that my son was comfortable. It was a tough surgery for my son, but now that I know what is involved with this surgery, I am so grateful we choose him. I wouldn't go to anyone else. On another note, you do have to pay upfront, but if you get Care Credit you can do zero interest for 18 months and the office will help you bill out your dental insurance. I think it is totally worth it.

He is very good however he is not on any dental insurance so you have to bill on your own. Difficult financially.

I was very apprehensive about having all of my upper teeth removed by Dr. Caplanis in preparation for an upper denture. To say that I was a little nervous would be an understatement. As it turned out, the procedure was truly painless. I remember Dr. Caplanis painlessly putting the needle that was to be used to put the sleep medication in my system... and that is all I remember until one of his assistants wheeled me out to the car with my wife. I am 70 years old and have experienced many dental procedures over the years, but I can truly say this was a great experience. I have followed his advice for post procedure medication and have had no pain whatsoever. Without any reservation or qualification, I highly recommend Dr. Caplanis for oral surgury. Additionally, his assistants and front office staff are great.

Although the staff was exceptionally friendly, my overall experience was less than successful. I had tissue grafted from the roof of my mouth to my front gumline. Dr. Caplanis took a photo prior to the surgery, and although I reminded him that he had not taken the after photo, it wasn't until years later I understood why he never did - I need to have the surgery again. And now both front teeth have recessed gumline and need to be grafted. I have a high tolerance for pain, but this was the worse pain I have experienced; and therefore, I have procrastinated in having the procedure done a second time. Very disappointing . . . I realize that all surgeries may not be successful, but I wish Dr. Caplanis had told me that the graft did not take as he had expected.

Front tooth implant that needed prior ridge augmentation. I therefore had bone and skin grafts prior to the implant. All was done with mimimal pain and the results were better than I would ever had expected. The following implant was also a great success. Chair-side manners were excellent as every step was fully explained from x-rays to impant. The staff was very helpful and did everything to help make this experience as pleasant as they possibly could. Pain was minimal, felt only after bone or skin graft for a day or two, as was expected. Implant itself was not painful. I would highly recommend Dr. Caplanis due to his expertise, training and experience with dental implants.
