He's not the best doctor you can find.
He often keeps you waiting, and he doesn't really help you with your problems. Instead, he often trys to aovid the difficult questions. Also his skills are ordinary at best.

I came to Dr. Kim for the consultation on gums.
The office is cozy, with nice aquarium and plenty of magazines. I was called in on time and Dr. Kim came really quickly - I never had to wait.
My gums easily bleed, however his touches were almost painless. He does not only find out how deep gum pockets are, but also whether there are mobility, furcations and bleeding. Results and treatment plan are available when you leave; you can get both - no waiting for fax/letter few days later. Costs are according to insurance, with no expensive cosmetic extensions.
Unlike a lot of dentists who take a few patients at once and never have time to answer questions, Dr. Kim dedicates full attention to you. He explains, in simple words, the problem, the cause and what different treatments are, clarifies complicated issues, gladly answers all your questions, addresses both pros and contras of the different treatments and creates a whole picture to give you a freedom to decide what to choose instead just dictating his will. Dr. Kim is a very patient and polite. He is a very good specialist too.
I strongly recommend Dr. Kim to people who need a personal attention to their dental problems and wish to know what they get for their money.
