Dr Miller is a miracle worker. His skills are like no one other periodontist. In fact he performed one of the first successful gum grafts, fyi. He truly loves what he does and pours his heart into this passion. I know this because I worked for him as a dental hygienist for two years.

The review pertains more to his staff. I would NEVER return and strongly advise you to avoid! I went for the sake of convenience (close to work). I am CERTAIN there are far better dental offices in the city. Personally, I am returning to my previous doctor in the suburbs.
About Front Desk: Absolutely the rudest and most unprofessional people I have EVER encountered! Uneducated, ill-mannered and dishonest! PLEASE see another dentist. This is not worth the hassle.

Thorough cleanings and sound advice. Drs. Miller and Levy are very knowledgeable and were good about answering all of my questions. The hygienists and office staff are friendly & helpful. The waiting room decor feels 3+ decades old, but I've always been pleased with the quality/service. I view the outdated decor as a positive -- I figure it translates into lower fees.

Five concurrent implants, all successful, virtually no pain either during or after. Always available for emergencies, and treatment always produces relief in a short time.

I have had three gum grafting procedures with Dr. Miller and it is not exaggeration to say that he saved my mouth. The first was over 30 years ago. I continue to see him on an annual basis for thorough cleanings and monitoring.
As another reviewer stated, he is not warm and fuzzy but he is thorough, direct and honest. A "no nonsense" type of person.
I recommend him highly.

Dr. Miller is an excellent doctor. I have had 4 surgeries/procedures with him - 3 for my dental implant and one gum surgery to allow a crown to be put in. My regular dentist raves about the absolute precision with which Dr. Miller puts in an implant. She says it's perfect - no fudging to get the crown in afterward due to crooked placement, etc. From my perspective, Dr. Miller was very professional, reassuring, confident and thorough. He's not a "warm fuzzy" kind of doctor, but he's compassionate and very skilled. I experienced no pain during any of procedures and minimal pain afterwards. Dr Miller administers novocaine virtually painlessly. I received good followup from his staff, in phone calls the day after to see how I was, and with instructions for post-surgical care. NOTE: It's important to get a periodic cleaning at the periodontist after having had an implant. I thought just going to my regular dentist would be enough, but the cleaning I got at Dr. Miller's office greatly improved the comfort of my crown on the implant, to the point where it feels like a normal tooth, whereas at my regular dentist's office, they were unable to improve some odd sensations. I would recommend Dr. Miller to anyone.
