From the hygienist Tony to front desk, this practice is top notch. When I had some serious problems, I was part of the decision making process. This group (Edward, Richard, and Dr. Brunner) do consult with each other. By they way, I still have my problem teeth and they have been hanging in there because of Edward and the whole group.

About Hygienist: Tony - Inteligent, vigilent, pleasant, and very gentle. Super!

I know this doctor: 9 years

Excellent perio care was given by Dr. Sugarman and his staff. Very pleasant and gentle. Helpful in everyway and lots of follow-up care. I recommend Dr. Sugarman for dental implants and follow-up care.

I was referred to this office by my dentist, whom I adore. However, my experience was less than stellar with these folks. Deep cleanings are no picnic, but on one occassion, I was tortured by the numbig shots. It was awful. I finally told him to quit and find someone who could do it better. He called in his associate (brother?) who finished and without the torture. I had several visits to this office. At one time, I had to stand out in the hallway of the office building about 20 mins. (and I had an appointment!) so they could have a staff meeting in the reception area. I was appalled by the unprofessionalism of that situation. Additionally, you have to pay to park in their building and they don't validate. That, in my opinion, is cheap, cheap, cheap! Another time he wanted to make pictures of his work in my mouth to take to a conference. No problem. But, he had me come to his office at my time and expense, and he still did not offer to at least pay for the parking! Again, cheap and cheaper immediately came to mind. Ultimately, I lost the tooth anyway so all the work was for naught. I cannot recommend them at all. This is strictly a business for these people. They don't care about their patients.

After 20 years with the Sugarman group, I can honestly say that they are the gold standard by which I judge all other medical practicioners. Simply the best in every aspect of treatment, communication, judgment, patience, personality and on and on. And, the best trained, nicest group of staff members I've experienced. I'm just sorry I moved... A Bastio
