I have had 2 teeth extracted by Dr. M. Chan and two implants. I am so very impressed by Dr. Chan and everyone of his staff. He is extremely professional and caring. He makes you feel at ease. He explains everything in detail before and after the procedure. During the procedure he asks you if you are doing OK and lets you know how everything is going. My first implant was on the top and very involved, I had a bone graft and sinus lift. I had very minimal pain afterward and the implant was a complete success. I had my second implant just 2 days ago, on the lower jaw, this one was simpler and I have no pain at all. Dr. Chan always calls you in the evening to make sure you are doing OK. I would recommend Dr. Chan to anyone needing any kind of oral surgery. Dr. Chan is also an instructor at the University of California Dental School.

I went in to have a third molar removed. The treatment was quick and painless. The front desk and other staff members were very courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Chan for an oral surgery work that needs to be done.

I was referred to Dr. Chan to have a tooth pulled that had gotten a cracked root. Dr. Michael Chan is very professional and the staff very pleasant. I had no pain during the extraction and minimal after, I didn't need to even fill the Vicodin prescription. I am going to call him and make an appt. about getting an implant. I realize he is a recent graduate, but my dentist, Dr. Leeds, recommended Dr. Chan to me and says he is very good. Dr. Leeds says he watched him do surgery on some one and was also very impressed with his skill.

Very detailed explanations about the procedure. He seemed confident and experienced despite the fact he only recently completed his degree and residency. I felt no pain during the surgery (was asleep), and little pain afterwards (didn't take much of the pain killer). Cost was a bit high. They provided thorough directions for after-surgery care, but really lacked pre-surgery instructions. Nevertheless, everyone there were very helpful and nice, and the experience was better I thought it would be.

Referral for emergency extraction of two abscessed teeth. Was able to see me on short notice. Procedure was quick but thorough and completely painless. Recovery completely trouble-free, with follow-up to make sure. Very good "bedside" manner. Professional. Highly recommended.
