I've had gum surgery many yrs ago. He was always professional, knowledgeable and available. I have just had the first step of an implant done and so far so good. I would recommend Dr. Oken.

I went to Dr. Oken for periodontal work. He is kind and patient. He explains everything before the procedure, I felt no pain before, during or after the gum surgery. He did-all four quadrants in 2 visits. I was given instructions, antibiotics and medication to take if I had pain. He called me personally at home the day after the procedure. He took my insurance plan, so I did not have to pay the entire price. He also gives a price reduction if you pay in full the day of the procedure. I would definitely recommend him .

I had an implant placed about six months after losing a lower molar. Dr. Oken took digital xrays and gave me an injection that I did not feel. The implant procedure was completely painless and I just had a little soreness afterward.
I went back several months later and had the post put in. There were no injections for that part and it was painless as well.
He then sent me back to my regular dentist for a crown.
The implant is a complete success.

I came to the office very nervous, and afraid. The dentist took xrays, and examined my teeth. that were in very poor condition. Follow up visit to treat and fix my teeth were arranged. The dentist and assistant are very understanding, patient, and they explained,the procedureThey proceeded to treat my gums,and teeth. I can say, I am truly glad I chose this dentist and staff. I could not of made it through the procedure without the assurance that I was in the best of care with doctors who not only careed about my teeth, but my biggest fear,and anxiety, that is sitting in a dentist chair. My fear and anxiety were eased through lots of patience .The insurance and cost was also discussed. There weren't any hidden charges. I continue to return every four months for treatment. Thank You for all you done to help me keep my teeth, but most of all thank you for your kindness, patience, and healthy gums and teeth. From a patient who is no longer scared of walking into a dentist office, and sitting in the chair. I can't stop looking into the mirror, and smiling. My father has even notice my beautiful smile, and he no longer has to put his dentures on the table to get me to go to the dentist.. Thank you Dr. Oken, and Dr. Molinas
