I came to Dr. Peshoff for a second opinion and ended up with a 7,500 treatment plan and was told I had to do surgery with his practice or I would loose my teeth. When I went to my regular dentist she told me that he tells that to many patients. I was very unpleased that his office is very out dated and holes in chairs. It looks like it has not been updated since the day he started. Needless to say I do not recommend going to his practice unless you have thousands of dollars to spend that clearly just goes into his pocket and not his practice. DISSATISFIED!

I had three implants and other surgical procedures done My wife is also scheduled to get implant soon. With all the procedures I have never needed anything but one Advil I take right after the procedure. Have never needed prescription pain meds or more than one Advil. I asked him how can he be so painless compared to other doctors I have been to for dental surgery. He told me he had trained with surgeons who taught him how to treat living tissue for the least amount of trauma and that his profession is his passion. I would be fearful of going anywhere else. He has saved lives of many of his clients and has saved me from future extensive jaw removal because he is proactive. This is the first review I have done for a dentist or oral surgeon. I wanted to do it because I am really grateful. That is my only motive

About Front Desk: Well trained to represent their interests and yours. Just find out about payment options before you go like you would anywhere.

About Hygienist: For periodontal disease I give them 5 but you need to alter your cleanings with your dentist every other time.

The negative reviews are nonsense. Peshoff is one of the best periodontists in the country. He has always cheerful and has carefully explained my dental problems and treatment options. I'm in his office twice a year for checkups, had two surgeries, and a dental implant. My son visited a "discount" dental franchise that wanted to treat the wrong teeth, but I asked him to see Dr. Peshoff, where he got a correct diagnosis and excellent care. This man continues to read and study, and stays on top of new developments in his field. He is often a lecturer at national conferences.

Carl Peshoff was supposed to do work on my lower and upper jaw. He did such an abysmal job with the bottom that I cancelled further appointments and decided to go elsewhere. A few days later, I received a letter from his receptionist. It is easily the most unprofessional letter I have ever received. It was flat-out threatening. If I don't return immediately, I'll lose all my teeth, was the general theme of the letter. And imagine my disgust when I did find a reputable doctor who, after examining me, told me a lot of Carl's work was unnecessary. I'm not litigious, but I'm wondering if Peshoff's behavior is actionable. By the way, his prices are okay, but if the work was not needed, so what?

About Hygienist: Carol was the one who sent me the letter.

Carl Peshoff, if he was ever good, is now burned out. He has limited his hours in the office to about 12 hours a week, yet he can longer muster the energy to act professionally during this easy schedule. He is condescending toward his patients, clearly bored with explaining the same periodontal issues for umteenth time (he rolled his eyes at my questions), and makes it clear he is only hanging on for the money.

About Hygienist: His attitude, unfortunately, has infected the rest of the staff.
