This was my first visit with Dr.Christensen he was awesome!I had lost part of my filling and broke part of my tooth any other Dr.would have insisted on a root cannal and a crown ,but he didn't he said he would do what he could to avoid it and he did. Also I am the biggest chicken on the planet and told him so right off the bat ,he was wonderful I never felt a bit of pain and my mouth wasn't even slightly sore afterwards. This Doctor is awesome!!!!

Proceedures allow return to productive day instead of losing the entire day to the treatment and aftermath... Saves money in the long run!!!

Excellent dentist - I would recommend him to anyone - I would not hesitate to give him a call and choose him as your regular dentist.

Dr. Christensen is friendly, and very professional. His staff is polite and courteous. He is highly skilled with crowns and fillings. He uses nitrous oxide, local anesthetic, and valium for patients who need it. He is also very generous with payments and lets you pay over time withouy charging interest. He is genuinely a nice fellow. Howerer, I have several problems with him. He is not able to property anesthetize my lower teeth with local anesthetic. He cannot seem to find "the nerve." This makes it necessary for him to give several injections beneath the tooth he is working on, which is painful and causes additional pain and swelling for days afterward. To be fair, other dentists have had this problem with my lower teeth. But I am disappointed that Dr. Christensen has not been able to resolve this issue and am therefore reluctant to let him work on my lower teeth. Another problem is that he does not prescribe adequate medication for pain control. After a recent procedure, I was once up all night with pain after he had told me I would need nothing more than Tylenol. When I called him the next day he was going to prescribe codeine in a dosage that I knew would do little to help

I visited Dr. Christensen about three times. First time, he extracted one of my wisdom tooth. I noticed that there was no handwashing among any staff including Dr. ( I am a registered nurse). That time, I developed dry socket and infection in that dry socket. I had to have dressing changes. Second time I went there again for another wisdom tooth extraction (thinking first time infection was coincidental). I got really bad gum infection that later I had to have antibiotic treatment. At that time he recomended teeth cleaning. On examining, he told me that I have 20+ cavities. I got scared and didn't go back. Next time I went to Dr. King, and he checked my xrays and told me that I HAVE NO CAVITIES whatsoever. I was very disappointed in Dr. Christensen that he was only trying to make only and was probaby going to drill holes in my teeth and then fill those with filling material. What a shame.
