Dr. Schechter has been my dentist for a long long time. I have complete trust in his treatment plans, he often has several options to choose from, and is meticulous in his work. His office staff is helpful (Amber is no longer there). Recently, my 100 year old mother needed dental care and Dr. Schechter went out of his way to deal with the necessary work in a manner that made it as painless and convenient for her as possible. I would recommend him without reservation.

About Front Desk: MaryLuz , Dr Schechter's office manager, is calm and helpful on the phone and in person. She handles scheduling and insurance issues promptly and professionally.

had a bridge redone sue to problem with infection under one thooth

I have had numerous cosmetic and maintenance appointments over the past 11 years. Dr. schechter created a smile that I had never had the pleasure of having for most of my life. He straightened a crooked and cracked front tooth with a crown, matched crowns with natural teeth with such skill that my teeth look real and beautiful. I have seen numerous dentists over my lifetime, and he is by far and away the BESTof all. Regarding payments, he is reasonable and will work with you to make a payment plan that you can handle if you do not have insurance that will cover the work. HE also cares for my adult son who is mentally handicapped. He is gentle and kind, my son has no fear of going to the dentist.

extractions, crowns, bridges, veneers, etc. He always makes sure you don't have pain. he finds the best and least expensive way to solve the problem. Everyone is caring and nice. All his work has been successful and lasting.

About Front Desk: Mariluz and others are helpful always, efficient, lovely personal manner. Always find a spot for appointment or emergency.

About Hygienist: Ina is extremely thorough yet pain free. I feel very clean after. She consults with Dr. Schechter after about any findings.

I have been a very long term patient of Dr. Schechter's. Once, while on vacation in Paris, I had a terrible toothache and my first impulse was to call Dr. Schechter for a recommendation. When I was beginning my career as a teacher I was in a bad car accident and Dr, Schechter scheduled me early in the morning for weeks so that all the cap and bridgework could be done in the shortest amount of time possible. He has always presented any available options so I could make informed tratment decisions. I travel from Norwalk, CT to Manhattan in order to continue as a patient because I know he is very knowledgable, professional and caring.

About Front Desk: Mary Luz, Dr. Schecter's office manager, is helpful and efficient, wheather she is helping make appointments, or answering a question about billing.

This man is a wonderful dentist! I am not a big fan of the dentist's chair & Dr. Schechter has put me at ease many times & taken care of my teeth & gums. The office staff is professional & very kind, helpful & charming. I hope Dr. Schechter never retires! I am very pleased with his office & his workmanship. You will not find another like Burton Schechter = he is a true find! I would recommend him to anyone.

Implant, Bonding, Dental Caps. He is wonderful. Very gentle. He is an artist. Work is beautiful. He is also very personable and a lovely gentleman. I have never had a problem with anyone or anything. Always a pleasure to see him and everyone who works for him. Love him!!!

About Hygienist: Ina is the hygienist who works with Dr Schechter. She is also lovely and gentle. Cleaning is thorough and excellent.

i am a 38 year old female who has always been afraid of the dentist. Until i found Dr. Schechter who is by far an amazing individual to start of, and an even more wonderful dentist in my book. I need tons of work on my mouth and the only person i feel comfortable with is Dr. Schechter. He is more concern with making you feel 100% satisfied with his work and basically treat you like family. The work i need is expensive but Dr. Schechter puts no pressure on you in making payments and that is by far a comforting aspect to know. my insurance covers some of my work but i am paying out of pocket for the balance without any hassle.

Dr Schechter is a very nice person. He is pleasant, careful and methodical. He takes his time and does a great job. He provided me with laminates and an implant, and they look very natural. I am quite happy with his work. He also worked on my son who also had an implant and laminates on his front teeth, and he looks fantastic, with a beautiful smile. I highly recommend Dr. Schechter..wonderful results!
