This dentist performed substandard work by attempting to provide me with a service which was out of her range.
The first set of crowns that she attempted to give me were twice the size of natural teeth and bizarre looking. I had to inform her that they were of no use,something that any competent dentist would already know.
The crowns eventually applied did not fit well and too large. The process took many hours with long waiting periods while she was treating other patients.
My gums were torn up in the process; her suggestion was to gargle with salt water.
At one point during my visits she mentioned that she was taking a class on dentistry, which only made me more uneasy and anxious. I also had to convince her to order the crowns in the shade of white that I preferred. The language barrier did not help the overall situation.

I moved to NoHo 5 years ago and I walked down the street and saw this dentist's office. It is right across the street from the Library and the park at Magnolia and Tujunga. I called to make an appointment and I've been a patient ever since. I love this dentist office!!! The dentist is very knowledgeable and she cares about her patients. I feel very comfortable in Dr. Akiode's office. She or one of her staff calls to see how you are doing the day after any procedure. I have been going to this dentist for 5 years. I have had several crown procedures, fillings, a root canal, two bridges, and a wisdom tooth pulled. I have also had my teeth cleaned with the scaling procedure. All of my procedures have been successful. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone new in town and to all of my friends. I plan to get my teeth whitened before the summer. (smile) I gotta have sparkling pearly whites for my vacation.

Dr. Akiode was very professional and friendly when I got my dental work done. Since that was my first visit to the dentist, I was very nervous, but the great customer service and the comfortable atmosphere of the office immediately calmed me down. The facility is very modern, and other patients that I refered have commented that this office is at the cutting edge compared to their previous dental offices. My procedure was quick and painless and the results were amazing. Because of Dr. Akiode, I am no longer scared of going to the dentist. Her staff was also very supporting. They called me several times after I got my procedure done to verify that I was doing well.

My experience with this dentist and the appication of crown has been a nightmare. The poorly-down crown has violated the biological-width of my gums,and caused violation of gigival.
Results: permanent gum disease until I have perdontic surgery.
I knew I was in trouble when the procedure went on for hours and hours,with return visits.
My gums were obliterated after each visit. The crowns are still too long than what I requested--that's after sending them back to the lab for a re-do,which meant another day of grinding my teeth down further.
