I was initially skeptical about going to Dr. Tchaga's office because she was advertised in the coupons of newspapers - so I went for the cost, not expecting much. But I have been so pleasantly surprised. She really takes the time to answer all questions, give her honest advise, and refer you to other doctors (like oral surgeons) if you need more advanced work. I thought she might be a scam - trying to do unnecessary procedures - but she does only what's needed or recommendable at a much, much lower cost than other local dentists. Initial consult and a panoramic x-ray were each only $45... other dentists charge twice that much.
About Hygienist: All of the hygienists are very kind and helpful with holding kids while you are being checked, which is a great help for moms. They're very careful about proper hygiene.

I was very skeptical when first walked in the office having had very bad experiences with other dentists in the past but Dr. Tchaga and her staff changed that for ever. She is the one of the BEST dentist in the Bay area.

I had many doctors before I found Virginia Tchaga by my friends recommendation. She treats all my family for several years now, best with accommodation, even in emergency cases. She is really good doctor and the way she treats you - best comfort you can get. She always remember everything about you personally, all you needs and always asks about family members. She saved some of my teeth than other doctors said I have to loose it.

She is nice doctor in terms of getting your basic treatment. Is courteous and gentle and can feel the patients pain.
Doctor sometimes recommends treatments that is not needed.
Doctor does not explain clearly explain the procedure she is performing on you - one has to ask her to get the details
Her admin assistant (DEE) is rude and non coperative. Does not gives appointments easily.
