I picked this dentist not knowing anything from our network. I am sorry that I did. Went in for a filling, needed a crown, which was painful and not done correctly. Have to find another dentist to finish the work. Very unhappy.

Dr. Wiczer has a good, comforting manner, and did acceptable work. Unfortunately, I found her office rushed and confusing. My first appointment, I found that I needed to have a bridge replaced. I spoke with her front desk, who told me that the procedure was cosmetic and would cost $4000. One very stressful day later (and a thousand calls to my insurance company), I learned that she was wrong, and the bridge would only be $1000. It bothered me that I never received an apology for this misunderstanding. Also, in retrospect, I believe I was rushed into the new bridge. I wasn't aware that it would involve reshaping two healthy teeth (my previous bridge didn't). We only spent a few minutes talking about it, and I didn't know that many dentists don't recommend reshaping healthy teeth, or that I had other options. Unfortunately, one of the previously healthy teeth became infected after reshaping, and I subsequently had to have a root canal. In retrospect, I should have gotten implants instead, or opted for a less-intrusive Maryland bridge. I will say that her work did look very good, cosmetically-- no one can tell it's a bridge! But I should have been more assertive about my care

She would recommend an expensive mouth guard to everyone and unnecessary procedures. Worst of all, her work is very sloppy and sub-standard. She suggested replacing the filings in my two teeth, and I bought into that. As a result, I 've been having headache and toothache after the procedure. It appears that she grinded my teeth further down and closer to the nerves. My teeth are now very sensitive and would probably need a crown now. I should have never let her touch my teeth in the first place. This dentist has no ethical values and is the worst dentist I've ever met in my life. Please go look for another dentist.

Waited over a half hour each time I visit. She's seemed rushed every time I've been there. Tooth cleaning seems a bit haphazard. Is very nice throughout visit, though.

I have only needed general cleanings and checkups, but over time, I have noticed a decrease in customer service and office staffing. Phones ring without being answered, and the billing / reception help is underwhelming. I had been a patient for a few years, and once had a mistaken (unknown to me at the time) lapse in insurance coverage, which no one in the office caught, until after performing x-rays and the cleaning. They then billed me the full amount (not even the usual insurance rate), and I'm a student on a budget. While Dr. Wiczer is very friendly, she is not very involved with her patients. The focus seems to be on patient turn-around, and suggesting (albeit) preventive treatments that are costly, even with insurance coverage, when not stricly necessary. Some coworkers also visit her office (and some have left), and each year, there seems to be a "theme" treatment that she suggests to everyone, often to the tune of hundreds of dollars of out-of-pocket costs. I'll be changing dentists for my next checkup.

Dr. Wiczer did a terrible job bonding a tooth of mine. I went back to have it fixed after it chipped only a week after the original appoinment. After the 2nd appointment I started forming a sore on my upper lip because the 2nd bonding job she did wasn't smooth. I was forced to go to another dentist, and when he evaluated the work she had done, his words were "this is terrible." Dr Wiczer is not particularly professional, she seems very rushed, and her esthetic work (at least in my case) is awful

multiple procedures: crowns, fillings, cleaning, etc. Tooth under crown decayed, two fillings broke, bad cleaning job.

Dr Wiczer is very nice and makes an effort to remain calm at all times. The office envirnoment is friendly and the staff is great. i had a front tooth crown put in by her and am a little disappointed as I was trying to make the replacement tooth a little bit better than what was there previously ( after all I was paying A LOT for the crown) She had a custom gentleman meet me in the office to match color and size. The first visit the tooth did not fit at all and was unable to be repaired to fit in office by her so I had to come back a second time. The second tooth fit snugly but was the exact same problem I was trying to get rid of from the start- The tooth protruded a little giving the appreance of a buck tooth. the color was fine and as time has gone byI am just not happy with the look of the tooth. I just expected more than the results warrented - especially for the money!

My daughter had a 5pm appointment with Dr. Wiczer and as we were running late WE CALLED the office 15mins before 5pm to let them know that we would be a few minutes late. When we got there, at 5:07pm, the receptionist was very rude and said that Dr. Wiczer HAD ALREADY LEFT for the day! We were obviously very disappointed with what happened but had to reschedule it. On the next visit, the receptionist was very rude again and my daughter was seen by another dentist even though we had asked for Dr. Wiczer. Dental treatment was not well done and I don't recommend this office to anyone who expects to be treated nicely and professionally.

I had several crowns replaced at Dr. Wiczer's office. Pros: she has a very caring and relaxed demeanor, which really is soothing in a stressful situation. She seemed to really care about getting me the best treatment, and the procedures were painless. Cons: The office is extremely extremely busy, and the atmosphere is a little rushed. Often, no one is able to answer the phone, though they're pretty good about calling back soon. Also due to a miscommunication with the receptionist, I was once told that an extremely expensive operation would not be covered by insurance and would have to be paid for out of pocket. After a frantic day on the phone with my insurance company, I came in to talk to them fully expecting to have to change dentists. Turns out the receptionist was mistaken, and I was very relieved-- but I never got an apology, which bothered me a little later. None of this is the dentist's fault (she's always been extremely nice), but the rushed atmosphere might have contributed to the miscommunication. If you're a shy person like me, just be sure to speak up and make sure you understand what's going on in this office. Research your procedures in advance so you know what questions to ask and how much it will cost.
