Dr. Baker had rather poor chair-side manner and while he seemed, most times, like a nice enough guy, I never really felt like he had a good grasp of what he was doing. I had two root canals and had to return to his office over and over and over again; both experiences were ridiculously time consuming, rather painful and pretty expensive considering the results. The front desk staff was very helpful as were the dental assistants; and Dr. Baker could be a very good dentist, maybe, with a little more experience and confidence.

Excellent dentist. He is located in the Sears on Lawrence, and will be moving to the Sears on Irving Park so the office is sort of a sparse, and not at all like a health spa. The people couldn't be nicer, however. The customer service couldn't be better. I'm a senior without insurance, and the prices are very reasonable. My husband still has insurance on his pension and he says this is the first dentist that does not exceed the usual and customary. The work couldn't be better. Have been using him for years and very very satisfied. Crowns always fit. Temps always work. He does not do implants but will refer.

Dr. Baker never introduced himself to me, never explained anything about the treatment that I was getting. Any information that I got was from asking questions. Had a very poor chairside manner, including when he stopped to eat lunch in the middle of my procedure - without telling me, or asking if I wanted a magazine or paper while I waited in the chair. Then he fractured my bridge during a root canal and tried to blow it off by saying that maybe the fracture was there before. I'm totally tramatized, and now I have to spend a ton of money getting a new bridge. With no dental insurance, I'm not sure what I can do...
